“Perfect!” I said as she pulled into my drive.  “I will see you in a bit”

As soon as I got into the studio I sprinted up the stairs and changed into a pair of old relaxed jeans and t-shirt.  I ran back downstairs and light some candles in the living room and turned on some of the outdoor ground lights in the patio. I figured we could sit out there since it was a warm night.  I hooked up my ipod to the outdoor stereo system and tried to find some neutral music. Nothing slow and sexy for sure…that would be a bad idea.  Well I am sure it wouldn’t be bad I thought smirking to myself.  Remember, SLOW.  I settled on Jack Johnson for some nice laid back music.

I went to the kitchen to find some wine glasses.  I knew I had some they were just in my very top shelf so I climbed on to the counter.  As I was looking, Ashley knocked on my door and I yelled for her to come in. 

“What are you doing up there?” She asked. 

I turned around still standing on the counter and displayed the wine glasses in my hand. She came over and took the glasses for me and then offered her hand to help me down.  I just looked at her.

“Oh come on Spencer.  Just take my hand for a second so you don’t break a leg jumping off the counter” She said knowing why I was hesitating.  I grabbed her hand and hopped of the counter. When I landed she gave my hand a little jerk toward her and it pulled me right into her.  We had full frontal contact.  Fire, I was on fire…again.  I looked at her and she had a very wicked, mischevious smile on her face.  I jumped back and gave her a light shove on the shoulder.

“Jerk, you did that on purpose.” I said laughing.  She gave me her best innocent look.  “Oh don’t even try that with me” I continued. “I am doing my best to take it slow and hang out and you are pretty much wrecking my mind with your little moves like that.”

“Hey, I wasn’t the one that suggested we go slowly.  I just said I need some time to think about some things.” Ashley said.  She still had the innocent look on her face but her eyes were full of trouble.

“So you have been thinking?” I whispered.

“Yeah, I have.  And I like where it is going.” She replied.

I swallowed hard and looked at her.  She was wearing long, to her knees, brown board shorts that sat low on her hips with a light blue tank top.  I was catching glimpses of perfectly toned calves.  She looked like she had just come off the beach from a day of surfing.  Surfer girls drove me wild.  My mind was racing.  Wine and talking or taking this girl up to my loft post haste?  Breathe Spencer.
