“Hey Kaylen, do you have your notes from A&P on Monday?” I asked.

“Uhh…yeah, here ya go.” Kaylen replied handing me the pages from her notebook.

It was late Wednesday night and we were doing some serious studying. Midterms were next week and both of us were freaking out. Ashley and I were going to be spending Friday and Saturday down in LA for the concert so I wanted to make sure I got as much studying in as possible.

“Oh…that makes sense.” I said after reading through Kaylen’s notes. “I was totally missing some of this from my notes.”

“No way…” Kaylen said teasingly. “You would have been missing a lot more if I hadn’t kicked you to get you out of your lovesick daydream.”

“Oh whatever!” I said throwing my eraser at her. “Like you have room to talk. You said ‘Bye. I love you’ like eighteen times to Aiden before I could get you off the phone and in here to study tonight.”

“Yeah, Yeah.” She replied. “You know it isn’t good that both of us are all twitterpated and googley-eyed at the same time. We can’t rely on each other to bring us back to reality.”

I laughed. “True. You really have to focus on Friday. I won’t be here to keep you from day dreaming and we really need those notes for next weeks exam.”

“Ouch. You get a girlfriend and all I am to you is your note-taking bitch” Kaylen said with mock hurt.

“Yeah, but you are my favorite note-taking bitch and I love you.” I said smiling and adding “Technically we aren’t girlfriends either.”

“Seriously! You two need to nut up and talk to each other. Obviously you aren’t seeing other people since you spend every spare moment together.” Kalen said in exasperation.

“I know, I know” I groaned. “This weekend for sure I will talk to her.”

“Well let me know if I need to come over with the UHaul. Because once you lezzies are official it’s going to be insta-marriage.” Kaylen said trying to keep a serious face.

“God, Kaylen you can be such….” I couldn’t help but bust out laughing because Kaylen was hysterical. I loved how much Kaylen made me laugh.
