The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 13, Friday the Thirteenth; Halloween)

“Spencer, Spencer, please wake up baby, please wake up.” Ashley sobbed, her forehead against the blonde in her arms as she watched the figure move behind Kyla.

“What are you doing here?” Glen asked, shocked and unsure of what to do.

“Shhhh, Glen. We don’t want to scare anyone.” With cat-like reflexes, the figure’s hand rose and cupped Kyla’s mouth. The small brunette jerked and tried to get out of the hand’s grip but it was too late. Kyla’s eyes fluttered shut and she slumped against the figure until she was lying unconscious on the floor.

“Wh-what why wha-what are you doing?” The terror in Glen’s voice only amplified Ashley’s own. The gun was pried from Kyla’s limp hand and the barrel was raised until it was aimed right at Glen.

“I told you I knew who you were, Glen. Where you lived. Who you loved. You’ve been a very good boy. Now make mommy proud and go dispose of the Mendez girl and her whore.” Glen didn’t move, however, his face chalk-white and body shaking. He was sure he had heard wrong. This couldn’t be the Killer. It couldn’t be the person who had told him to kill Dallas, to work with Kyla Woods—to get information about the slain at King High.

“No…no this can’t be…it-it…it’s not you.” Glen mumbled desperately.

“Glen. We’re almost done. You can have what you want if you’ll just go down the hall and finish killing Carmen and Lily; I’m pretty sure I only nicked the dyke with my sword—it was dark after all. Be a good boy and do as I say and no one you love will get hurt.”

Spencer was starting to stir; Ashley’s tears were splashing on her face and the sound of familiar voices were making her come ’round.

“I said go, Glen!” The voice echoed around the quiet house and Glen and Ashley jumped at the sound.

“Ye-yes.” The boy stammered, shuffling out of the room quickly without looking back.

“Aunt Marie?” Spencer’s voice was so quiet that Ashley barely registered it.

“Don’t look so shocked, Ashley, you had to see this coming.” Marie taunted, the gun now pointed at the brunette. Spencer mumbled her aunt’s name again as she tried to make sense of where she was and what was going on. Marie side-stepped to the bedroom door and shut it with a snap before moving back further into the room. “Move away from Spencer, Ashley.” This only made the brunette cling to the stirring blonde tighter. “I could always drug you with chloroform like I did your sister.” Marie threatened, holding out the chloroformed rag she had just used on the small brunette.

    1. DUDE. I checked this site obsessively all damn day yesterday! Nice ending, super epic. I like that it was 31 days too. SHIT that was awesome. New story soon mk? My 2 suggestions are as follows: not a year long and ummm more sex. KTHXBYE!

    2. I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.

    3. PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
