“Are you even listening to yourself?! Aunt Marie, what happened to you? Why are you doing this?!” Spencer asked, griping Ashley tighter as she sat up a little more.
“Because Raife is mine! He was always mine and he’ll always be mine! That slut Christine took him from me with her devil ways and I saw to it that they’d never be together again!”
“By killing him?”
“Killing him? I wouldn’t touch a hair on his head! I just needed to get Christine out of the way. I should have killed her but Raife was confused and thought he loved her. He wouldn’t see reason. So I just needed to have some time alone with him to make him realize that he never could love her and that he was in love with me!”
“It was you in the picture! You dated my father!” Ashley breathed out, shocked and completely furious with herself for not seeing it all clearly before. Beside her, Spencer was too feeling foolish.
“Raife and I were very much in love our senior year of high school. We had such beautiful plans to marry after graduation, start a family, grow old together. But your whore of a mother swept in and changed all that. She was nominated fall queen and so he left me for that bitch! He didn’t even care how brokenhearted I was! But I waited. I would just have to bide my time until it was right. So I left town to plot my revenge. I’m not even sure Paula knows how much she helped me. But when Raife confided in her that he had cheated on Christine and got the young slut pregnant, I knew what to do.
“It took awhile to find the girl; Baltimore is bigger than it looks. But I found her. She was so easy to whittle away; pretend that I was there for her and that I could help. Kyla never knew that I was pulling her mother’s strings, but once the slut offed herself and poor little Kyla was left all alone in the big bad world, I was able to make her see the light—got her to trust me and come to Ohio to meet her ‘family.’ She was so desperate to have a family. A father, a sister, she’d do about anything to have it.

I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
