“Raife would be very upset.” Marie stated calmly.
“He’d get over it!” The tip of the knife was no longer pressed against Spencer’s neck.
“I really can’t have three children; that’s far too many. We’d have to get a bigger ho
use and I already have my heart set on the one in the country with the blue shutters.” Spencer’s body sagged now that Marie was no longer holding her up.
“See! You have to kill me, not Spencer!” The younger blonde was shaking her head and swallowing slowly as she tried to get out the words to discredit Ashley—to protect the brunette. But they wouldn’t come. Her throat was too dry and she was in so much pain.
“Raife would never forgive me. He’d have to die as well.”
“Arthur would be happy in the country with Glen and Spencer and you.” Ashley whispered, so relieved that Spencer was free of Marie’s grasp. She wasn’t sure if the younger blonde was okay, but she was no longer in immediate danger.
“Maybe he’d open up a new diner…call it Marie’s Place instead.”
“That’s the perfect name.” Ashley breathed out in despair as Marie’s arm rose and the gun was now pointed at her.
“I’ve always hated that diner. Paula was the doctor and I was the nurse. Paula got the two children and I was told I can’t have any! Paula was the one Raife confided in, not me! Paula was popular and got all the attention, better grades, the happy home! Paula has a stupid diner named after her! Why can’t anyone ever do anything for me?! Why would Raife leave me?! I’ll kill him! I’ll kill him and you and Kyla and Christine and they’ll never be able to identify the bodies because I’ll see to it that your whole family pays for the sins he’s committed! I’ll kill you all! And Arthur will love me and Glen and Spencer will be my children and I love them and provide for them and I’ll be there for them through no matter what! Paula couldn’t even raise her daughter right! Filthy whore, slutting around with Ashley Davies like it’s okay, like it’s natural! I’ll show them all! We’ll be the perfect family!”

PAGES! Not days. Sorry, the epicness of the story has got me all befuddled.
I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
