The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 9 Nine, Blood Will Flow Like Wine)

A stupid grin slowly grew on the brunette’s face as Spencer continued to cover every inch of Ashley with her lips. She felt like a hero who had just come back from war, not a chick who just spent the last ten minutes or so crawling through dust, dead bugs, and mouse poop.

“Spence, I’m okay.” Ashley chuckled a little, enjoying the sensation of Spencer’s mouth all over her face, the blonde’s warm arms around her body, and the very clear emotion of relief and happiness that wafted off her ex best friend. “Don’t worry, baby, I’m here.” Ashley told Spencer, but with a hint of smugness in her voice. “Ow!” Ashley exclaimed again when the blonde hit her sore shoulder hard.

“Ashley Davies, don’t you ever fucking do that again!” The blonde chastised as she raised herself off the boxes and stood over the brunette with a stern expression on her face. “I should kick your ass for leaving me!” Ashley was shocked by the sudden anger the blonde’s voice held and was about to yell back, but fresh sobs erupted from Spencer and the brunette felt her anger melt away.

“Hey,” Ashley whispered, slowly getting to her feet and brushing off the pain she felt from her fall. She slowly wrapped her arms around the crying blonde and shushed her as she softly rubbed her back. “I’m okay, okay? I called the Sheriff and hopefully they’ll be here soon, okay?” Ashley soothed, suddenly preferring getting screamed at to Spencer’s tears.

She peaked over the blonde’s shoulder and saw that Arthur was still out cold. “I didn’t know what to do.” Spencer breathed out through tears as she buried herself in Ashley’s shoulder, clinging to the girl again.

Ashley looked over at the monitors and saw no moment and suddenly realized the banging at the door had stopped. “Spence, it’s okay. I think he’s gone so-” Just as Ashley spoke the words, the room plunged into darkness.

“Oh shit!” Ashley breathed out in terror. The basement was completely black and she couldn’t see an inch in front of her. Spencer was immediately back to panicking.

“OH MY GOD, ASHLEY, WE’RE GOING TO DIE, WE’RE GOING TO DIE, WE’RE DEAD, WE’RE GOING TO DIE!” Ashley’s wide eyes scanned the dark office as the blonde clung to her, not sure what the hell she should do. She had no idea if the sheriff was on his way. Arthur Carlin was still unconscious. The basement had no exit. The phones were dead and their cells weren’t working. And now the power was cut.

    1. ok so you had me practically crying one minute with their declarations of love for each other, and then pissed off the next when spence didn’t jump in to tell ash that she meant what she said! arrgghhhh! anyway I digress. this whole chap was freaking awesome, ash climbing through vents, their fight that turned totally hot, even their little agreement about fooling around (although damn I wish they’d just tell each other they love each other and make the other realize they mean it!!), everything! so is carmen dead? guess we’ll find out soon enough. excellent update stix, very much worth the wait! pms please!!

    2. Ok, I liked: 1. Spencer using “for sure” on Ashley, that was very telling. 2. Ninja Ashley ;) no further explanation needed for that. 3. The reference to “Murder, She Wrote.” 4. Declarations of love. 5. Making out while on the brink of certain death … hot. 6. the “fooling around” clause. I DID NOT like: 1. rat poop … eww 2. taking back the declarations of love 3. constant interruptions to the girls making out 4. Carmen. Oh and p.s LOVED the birthday greeting. Thanks sweetie.

    3. This is a good story and I hope you can continue on with it. I like how they are mad one minute and then all heated up the next. Its hot to do that sometimes.

    4. fuck. okay soooo one sec i’m like shittng bricks scared that they are about to die. then the next i’m pissed cuz theyre back to oh i hate you. and spencer seriously needs to fucking chill with the “i’m gonna be alone and deal with shit on my own” cuz isn’t that how her and ashley stopped being friends in the first place. i’m sorry but i would have left carmen walking by her damnself. and i don’t give a fuck what anyone says, i think the killer is(…) but seriously is carmen and lily dead cuz even though i don’t like carmen and lily is ok, it would suck if they’re dead and spence and ash missed it cuz they can’t keep their hands off each other. so that was an awesome chapter, i got super excited when i saw it there then i started yelling at the computer like they could really hear me, but anywho awesome chapter, can not wait for more cuz this story is hella badass. keep up the good work. pms

    5. What an emotional roller coaster that was! freakin brilliant :) of course I knew they were going to be interrupted- but i was pleasantly surprised by how far they’d gotten. I’m not sure why neither one is capable of owning their confessions of love, but I do know that love makes you do and say stupid shit so I’ll chock it up to that for now :)
