Clay: Hey, it’s just me, Clay.

Thank God. I go over to the door and let him in.

Clay: Do I need to have some kind of secret password to get in now?

Spencer: (I give him a small smile.) No, I was just afraid you were mom.

Clay: Ah, so she is still on her bible pursuit to send you back to God’s way.

Spencer: You know it. She makes me so mad sometimes. I really thought she would be over it by now. I mean it’s been 2 years. I’m still the same person. It’s not like I am bringing home 5 girls at a time and having orgies in my room.

Clay: Thank you for that visual image.

Spencer: (chuckles) Sorry.

Clay: Don’t let her get to you Spence. She still loves you.

Spencer: (Looks at Clay sadly.) I’m not so sure sometimes.

Clay goes over to Spencer and puts his arm around her while she is sitting on the bed. She rests her head on his shoulder.

Clay: Spencer, you know mom loves you. Mom has just always had this perfect image of you in her head because you are her little girl. She always wanted to see you in a white wedding dress getting married to Mr. Right in a big fancy church. I think she is still holding onto that dream.

Spencer: Well she needs to let it go, because there is no way I am going to marry any Mr. Right. It will be a Ms. Right on a beach with lots of flowers.

Clay: (He smiles thinking about it) That sounds nice Spence, real nice. So speaking of Ms. Right do you have anyone in mind to fill the position?

Spencer: (Spencer gets a huge smile on her face.) Maybe.

Clay: Alright spill. Is she hot?

Spencer: Clay!

Clay: Sorry. But is she?

Spencer: (laughs and hits him with a pillow) You’re such a guy!

Clay: So tell me about her.

Spencer: Clay she is amazing. She is so sweet and she is absolutely gorgeous. She has brown curly hair and big brown eyes. She gave me a ride home from school today and we are hanging out this Saturday.

Spencer is in a dream like state just thinking about Ashley. Clay quickly notices.

Clay: Wow you are really falling for this girl.

Spencer: Yeah I think I am.
