    CHAPTER FORTY TWO

     

    SPENCER’S POV:

    I can’t believe Ashley today. Did she really think that I was going to forgive just because she sent me some flowers and stupid balloons. I really don’t even want to see her. Mainly because I’m still so mad at her, but it also hurts too much. What makes it worse is I can’t stop thinking about what she did. I need to get her out of my head. I guess I’ll try to work on some homework, maybe that will help.

    Spencer is sitting on her bed working on homework when there is a knock on the door.

    Spencer: Come in.

    Clay and Glenn walk in with solemn looks on their faces.

    Spencer: Hey guys, what’s up?

    Glenn: What happened with you and Ashley?

    Clay: Way to be subtle Glenn.

    Glenn: Hey I’m her big brother, I need to know these things.

    Clay: You don’t have to be so blunt about it. Maybe she-

    Spencer: Guys! What do you want?

    Clay and Glenn begin to talk at the same time.

    Glenn: We want-

    Clay: We just-

    The boys look at each other and Glenn lets Clay talk first.

    Clay: We’re worried about you that’s all. We heard from some kids at school that you and Ashley broke up.

    Spencer sighs and looks down.

    Spencer: I really don’t want to talk about it.

    Glenn: Did she hurt you? I heard there was some kind of bet involved.

    I knew they were going to find out somehow. It’s almost impossible to keep a secret at King High. I might as well tell them, otherwise they’ll find out from someone else.

    Spencer: Clay can you shut the door?

    Clay shuts the door and sits down in Spencer’s computer chair. Glenn remains standing with his arms crossed.

    When I finished telling them about the bet and what Ashley did today they both had very different reactions. Clay looked sympathetic and Glenn, well I seriously thought he was going to hire a hit man to hunt down Ashley.

    Glenn: Man if Ashley wasn’t a girl I would so kick her ass. Clay you act like a girl sometimes, you kick her ass.

    2. i love how protective glen and clay are even if they both do it differently. i think ash is on the right road giving spence space and not pushing her into being with again. great update!!pms!!

    3. clay had a gr8 point…yah ash screwed up but i mean if she didnt care and if the time her and spence spent 2gether were meaningless to her than she wouldnt be trying so hard to get spence back…welly i hope u PMS!!!
