this song is not for you lovers – (Chapter: Sure This Time)

    ASHLEY’S POV

‘Ash+Spence=4ever’,‘SPASHLEY’, among others fill the page I’m supposed to be taking notes on.  I can’t get you out of my head, I can’t stop smiling, everything feels so right in the world, and we’re together, finally.  I look at the clock and see that I sill have fifteen minutes till lunch, time is killing me today! I can’t help it as I start getting antsy and my feet start tapping the floor apparently causing a distraction since the teacher gave me a deathly glare.  I stopped but as soon as he turned I couldn’t stop myself from sticking my tongue out while flipping him off.

As soon as the bell began to ring I was out of the class before it ended.  I made it to the quad in record time, not worrying about food, just dying to see you, MY Spence.  I sat on the table waiting for you only a little impatiently. *Where is she?* I thought *there’s my girl*. I saw you walking more like gliding toward me and with the sun shining on you and the light breeze blowing your hair I was sure you were actually an angel.  Shaking my head at my own cheesiness I hold out my arms while you walk right into them planting a kiss on my cheek.

“ It’s been forever since I got a hug.” I said holding you tighter, memorizing the smell of your hair and the softness of your skin.

“ It’s been about two and half hours.” You said while pulling away doing that head tilted grinning that drives me crazy.  “You know what I want?” I raised my eyebrows as though asking what, you came in close enough to where I could feel your breath on my ear. “ice cream.”

“You know what? Me too, let’s go.” And with out protest we left the school, free of worries and doubts.  We went to a park where there was an ice cream vendor, you got chocolate and I got vanilla.  We walked hand in hand and when I got some of the sticky treat on my face, you cleaned it off.

We cuddled on a bench by a pond only to be a few moments later chased away by a scary goose honking at us with its wings out; it chased us all the way to a playground in the park where we climbed the jungle gym to escape.  I imagined what we must’ve looked like to an outsider and almost pissed my pants laughing.  “Can you…believe we almost…got killed by a fucking goose!” I yelled between gasps of air and laughing.

“It’s not funny!” you shouted still freaking out, which made me laugh harder.  “Stop laughing at me!” You shouted now getting frustrated with me, while pouting sticking out your bottom laugh.

“Ohh, poor baby, are you scared of the little goosey?” I asked while climbing closer to you

    “Little?  That thing was monstrous!”

“Well, I think our ‘monstrous’ friend is gone, and in good time, these bars are doing some major damage on my ass.” I climbed down then turned to help you who when reaching the ground tripped over the last bar falling right into my arms.  “Whoa, I gotcha.”

    SPENCER’S POV

“You always got me.” I replied before chastely kissing her cheek.  “You should come to dinner tonight, at my house, I mean; my parents have to know sometime right?”

“Are you sure you want to do this tonight Spence?  I mean aren’t you already in a lot of trouble?”  You were right, I was probably going to be in trouble for a very long time.

“I’m sure that I want you to come over for dinner, the other stuff, maybe not so much?” I didn’t really know what to expect from my parents from basically cutting them off for a couple days, I wouldn’t be able to handle what else would happen by coming out, yet anyway. Looking in your beautiful brown eyes I could see that you understood that.
