    Togetherness – (Chapter: Food Fight!!)

The two shared a smile and Spencer scribbled something down on the paper. Turning her head to the side in thought, she closed her eyes and tried to see her perfect wedding in her mind. She scribbled down something else on the pad and put the end of the pen in her mouth, chewing on it and trying to get another idea. Ashley had gotten up and removed the tray from her lap, and was almost out the door when she heard Spencer say, “I want a big wedding.” The brunette turned around to see the blond looking back at her with pleading eyes.

Ashley slinked back over to Spencer and looked her in the eye. “Anything for you,” she said and she kissed Spencer on the forehead. As she walked away into the kitchen, she could hear mumbling from their bedroom, something about flowers.

“When are we gonna go dress shopping?” Spencer asked after she had paced into the kitchen. Ashley looked at the blond and scrunched her nose up in disgust.

“I hate dresses,” she said in response. “I do NOT want a big poofy princess dress. You’re my princess,” Ashley said, which made a crimson blush appear on the blonde’s face. “You wear the big poofy princess dress, I want a simple dress. No lace and DEFINITELY no bows.”

Spencer put on her best puppy dog pout on her face. “No lace?”

Ashley shook her heard. “Nuh-uh. No way. You are so not changing my mind.” Spencer started following her around, whimpering like a dog. “If you act like a dog, I’ll make you sleep outside!” she warned. This got both girls laughing, and they fell into a heap on the floor. “So,” Ashley said after a few minutes of silence, “how about some desert?”

“Sounds good,” Spencer said. The two removed themselves from the floor and Ashley made her way to the fridge.

Pulling out the whipped cream, Ashley carefully took aim and shot a clear stream right at Spencer’s face. “Oh no, you so did not just do that!” Spencer reached the fridge as Ashley retreated to behind the counter. Seeing the chocolate sauce, she opened it hurriedly and silently made her way over to Ashley’s hiding place. Without a sound, she tipped the bottle upside down and squeezed as hard as she could, emitting a large flow of chocolate sauce, which fell right onto the brunette’s face. As soon as the first drop hit her face, a shriek issued from Ashley’s mouth.
