We Met In Summer School – (Chapter: The Beggining)

    Chapter 1

So its the beggining of summer school. Ugh…how i hate it. Its not that im not very good in school, i am. i really am. not to sound cocky and all but im really smart. I usually get really good grades and all. Its just that this year i have really been lagging it…it just seems that i have become really distracted with every little event that comes into my life. So anyways im walking to my boring summer school class, English, which is 5 hrs a day and 4 days a week for 4 weeks. How lame is it to sit in the same class for that long and only get a 15 min. break….? I say its really lame. So as im walking i get a disappointed look from my teacher. She knows that i can do so much better and that i don’t belong here. I get the same speech every time…"Ashley…you have so much potential to be anything you want to be…blah blah blah." Trust me, i hear it from everyone: My Mom, My Dad, and practically my whole family. It gets annoying after a while.

"Take a seat anywhere u like, Ms. Davies. It will be your seat for the time you have here." Mrs. J says.

I showed up to class early…only a few people have chosen their seats. And of course i know no one in this class so far. I know im going to hate this.

So i take a seat to the far right of the classroom, furthest from the door. I keep my eyes on the door hoping that someone i know happens to be in this class with me so that i dont feel like a complete loner. No one. Just great. The late bell rings and most of the seats are filled. There are a few open chairs around me…So as the final bell rings a girl bearly makes in in time to not be marked as tardy. She walks to the seat next to me and sits. She turns to look over at me and smiles, I smile at her and turn my attention to the teacher, she does the roll call and after that she begins to speak to the class.
