"Okay class, we have a few rules here for this class." She says as she starts to write a list of a list of rules on the board.

She starts to read the rules out loud. "#1 you can only miss 10 hrs. total of this class, thats two days. A minute passed that and your out. Your credits will not be complete, and this would all have been just a big waste of time for you, so be on time! #2 All regular school rules and dress codes will be followed. #3 Everyone must participate in class at least once everyday to earn their credits. And last but not least #4 respect those around you." As the teacher finishes explaining her rules to us, a few mored kids pop in late to class. Finally, someone i know, Aiden. Yay! The teacher scolds him for being late, but lets him off with a warning because its the first day and all. Aiden sees me and sits next to me. See, Aiden and I have a history together, we used to date, but we are more like friends with now. I really like Aiden, but i dont think i could ever see myself falling in love with him, not only because im gay, but also because he is just too much of a really good friend to me. We’ve known eachother for as long as i can remember. I guess Aiden knows the girl that sat right next to me because he looks over at her and says, "Hey Spence." she looks over at him and says, "Hey Aiden" with a smile. Ive never really seen this girl around campus before. Or maybe i have and just never really noticed. The teacher gave us instuctions to get to know the people around us. Only Aiden and Spencer were around me. I already knew Aiden, so I got to talk to Spencer and get to know her a little better.

"My name is Ashley Davies." I say as I reach my hand out for her to shake it.

She replies with a smile, "Hi, im Spencer Carlin."

"Nice to meet u Spencer Carlin." I say and we both let out a giggle.

"So i already know Aiden, and well, Aiden knows me, and you know Aiden also. So i guess that just leaves you and me to get to know eachother." I say.

"Yea." She says simply with a small smile.

"Well Im a junior." I say. "What about you? What grade are you in?"

"Im also a junior." she says.

"So uh…" I say as she looks over and point between her and Aiden. "How do you guys know eachother?"

"We had this class together during the year, he sat right behind me. Aiden made me fail it because he was always distracting me by playing with my hair and touching me." she says as she looks over at Aiden and laughs.

Aiden just looks at her and says, "What can i say, i like distracting girls." Spencer looks to him and gives him a playful punch on his arm.

I then look to her and say, "I feel sorry for you"

She just lets out a soft laugh.

So we spent the time we had getting to know eachother and just cracking a few jokes here and there about Aiden…he didnt mind. Hes such a sweetheart. I guess this summer school thing wont be so bad. Only a few minutes here and i have already made a new friend…This can be cool. =D
