"one, two, three…" then we jumped.  Holding hands, straight into the water. I grabbed her by the waist as we were coming to the surface.  We came up form under the water and she was beautiful, makeup running down her face, her hair in front of her eyes with pieces of blue showing through. We swam to the shore and she whipped the makeup off, only a small amount of eye liner stayed on.

"what?? why do you keep looking at me like that Ha" she said. She didn't have one of those girl voices. It was kind of deep but had that girly charm. She didn't sound like a man. It just wasn't as light of fluffy but there was so much character in the way she spoke. It wasn't boring or the same tone ever.

"yo, that shit was Crazy." Jake said patting me on my shoulder. Did you get this wimp to jump, she only jumps off of the small bridge at the the other side of the Neversink Res." he started running the towel over his head laughing.

"actually i did jump ass fucker." nikki budded in pushing past jake and going to the car.

"psh, that's nothing. jump off that cliff and then brag how cool you are" Leah came up behind me.

"leah shut the fuck up. god, your jealous of every girl you meet. You ve known Nikki for years" Embry and the rest the guys came up.

We jumped for the rest of the day the pack from the cliff, and me Amy and Nikki from the bridge. I saw Nikki sitting on the beach you swim up to after you jump. Everyone was still jumping so i figured id go and talk to her.

"yo, watch dooooin?" i asked strolling up behind her.

"thinking." she said still staring at the river.

"about what?" i wanted to know what she was thinking about. What made her think so deep. She then looked up at me and she had so much pain in her eyes. They were a deep grayish blue. Like the grey took over.  She wasn't crying. She just looked like she was physically hurting.

"i don't really want to talk about it." she looked down at the sand and waved her foot over whatever she drew there. It kind of looked like a broken skateboard, awesome she skates, but it shaped a heart and down the middle of the heart it was cracked.
