"well i have a sure way of cheering you up, if you hung out with jake your whole life ,then"- she cut me off.

"correction, Jake's hung out with ME his whole life." she cracked a smile at me. Even through the pain it was this real smile. I don't think she faked anything, from what i knew of her.

"fine, HAHA, well how about a nice bon fire on the beach here." i stood up hoping she would say yes.

"if that's what the doc orders " she shrugged and stood up.

"aight guys, were having a bon fire, we need beer, blankets, wood, hoodies and all that good shit" Jake called out. I forgot he could hear awesomely well, like a dog. I love that kid haha.

"and shmore shit man, we need them if were having a fire" Seth screamed.

"me, Paul, and Seth are on the beer and shmores" Sam yelled and him and Paul went tot he car and took off.

"aight then well me, Embry, Quill, Leah, and Amy are on wood, were gonna need ALOT. It's been a pretty long week" Jake started shaking his head.

"You guys are on blanket and hoodie duty" Jake told me and Nikki.

"well i have blankets in my car for the ride here from Florida, and a shit load of hoodie cuz i was coming here." I told him. Yes me and Nikki get to be alone together. Maybe i can get to know her better. She's pretty cool and im definitely digging her.

"well you guys don't really NEED me to get wood if you have all of you going so ill just stay here" Leah started walking from Jake's car over to us. Fuck. Amy grabbed her by the arm, far enough away that Nikki couldn't hear them. With me being what i am though i can hear almost as good as jake. Almost.

I heard them across the bridge from where we were.

"leah come with us. let them be jeez-us christ." Amy said.

"No fuck that, shes a vampire lover anyways. Why does she need him too?!" Leah was pissed. Vampire lover? I mean i know There's been vamps around. Jake was telling me about a family that moved here about 1 year and a half 2 years ago, and his pack grew. Then they left like December or some shit. Now a few more are back. That's why he had me come to help, he didn't really tell me the whole situation. Just There's vamps back and he needs me this time, his pack is running to the core trying to protect. No clue what there protecting, but what did Nikki have to do with that. Leah knows what i am. The whole pack does. I'm so lost. I started scratching my head, if Leah was going to stay then Amy is too.
