    Ashley was gravely concerned for Clay’s welfare. If this really was what Skinny Jim thought had happened, then his life could possibly be at risk. This altercation with Dallas just being a precursor to the what he was preparing to inflict on the Ohio native.

    Sighing deeply, Sean put a hand on Clay’s shoulder and squeezed reassuringly. “Well we got your back. Your beef is our beef now.”

    “Thanks.” Clay replied. They all started walking towards the quad until he shook his head and stopped in his tracks, causing the whole group to pause in their actions. “Wait, what was Dallas saying about you guys being Renegades and Trent Mafia or whatever?”

    A moment passed in the hallways of the school. Who would be the one to tell their friend that they were apart of a gang that operated in this very school? A gang that was involved in drugs, violence, money schemes, and other activities. Who would tell them how much the gang meant to each every one of them? How it was the rock that anchored them sometimes, how it taught them to appreciate their friends as members of a family when their flesh and blood just couldn’t suffice? How it fucked up their lives? how dangerous it was? Who would be able to explain the love/hate relationship they had with the SDR’s?

    They all glanced at each other nervously, none of them having the energy or courage to tell Clay the complexities of the life they lived, of just how much good this gang did as well as bad. Would he abhor them? Would he reject their friendship and protection because of what they were apart of? There were many questions and only one way they could be answered.

    With a knotted stomach Ashley stepped towards Clay and looked him in the eye. “I don’t care if any of you guys have class next period, we’re going out. I’ll tell you everything when we get to where ever we’re going.”

    Clay saw the exhaustion in her face. Life seemed to be wearing down on the girl. Although he wasn’t one to skip class, he would make an exception this time for the sake of information. Sometimes, things overrode school and maintaining a perfect record.

    In silence, they walked to Ashley’s car, got in, and drove off to an unknown destination.

HAHA! i KNEW there was gonna be an ass whippin comming to madison…it was just a matter of time…omg it was pretty funny too…although not as violent and dramatic as i wished….w/e…im glad with the way this chapter came out. And as for ima bearclaw…shes way cool…im totally lovin the way shes raising her kids, i wish my mom was like her…it’d be cool…you gotta gimmie more…i need it…its my addiction…officially.
