    Chapter 8

    Sooo where was I???  Right… I just told you about one of the best times ever with Ashley, and that was on Monday… this week has gone by really fast because I’ve actually been able to hang out with my best friend everyday without being bitched-slapped by the one who will not be named because every time I think of her and Ashley hanging out I actually throw up a little in my mouth…

    “Spence…Spence……Spencer!!!! HEY SPENCER!!!” Aiden almost yells snapping his fingers in front of my face and I jump realizing I have been spacing out for a while, and as I look around the class, I can see everyone else is gone.  “Sorry, I didn’t mean to snap at you like a dog or something, but you were seriously spaced out there….I’ve been saying your name for like fifteen minutes,” Aiden says smiling, isn’t he ever the gentleman…I knew hung around him for a reason. 

    But I just kind of look at him to say I know he’s exaggerating the whole 15 minutes thing.  “Anyway Spence, what’s on your mind…I feel like you haven’t been hanging out with this week at all,” Aiden says holding the door for me as we walk into the quad for lunch.

    All I can do is smile when I think of why I haven’t been hanging with the gang as much, but I can’t help but think I should make more of an effort to hang with Chelsea and Clay more because they be at college next year…Oh shit, answer the question at hand Carlin, worry later…Aiden is just looking at me waiting for a reply as we sit at our usual table, we’re always the first to lunch.

    “Um…sorry.  I guess I’ve just hung out with Ash more because the girl I want to just stab with a spork is gone for the week, plus I was helping her with her finals,” I say smiling as I think of Ashley.

    Aiden and I both start laughing…I couldn’t believe I actually got that last line off without laughing before and now I just can’t hold it in… “Yeaaaahhhh, right.  You and Ashley studying together.  More like talking, going to movies, and holding each other in a definite more than friendly way.  And I don’t blame you, that girl is hot, but…”

    1. man you so did not stop there! grrr I’m giving you the evil eye right now so watch out lol. anyway great update totally excited about the party and that ash and spence have spent so much time together. what’s with aiden and all his wisdom?!? the boy grew a brain lol. and damn it all if I don’t want me some chex mix right now… and I don’t have any =( great update pms please!
