“Um…I’m not sure.  I mean, I think she thinks I still like Adrienne.  She did call me the other night when Ash and I were laying around watching some movies, and I told her it could be important so I answered it.”  Aiden just looks a little shocked but I continue anyways, (Adrienne is the girl I took to prom….we kinda started talking more and actually hung out once or twice outside school…she’s alright and pretty cool, I just like her more as a friend). “Her mom hasn’t been feeling well the past couple of weeks and they were about to go to the hospital together because she could barely walk, so I just comforted her and told her to call me later that night when they get back…even if it was late because I would be up.” Aiden just shook his head, showing he understood.

“Yeah, I mean I like her and she cute, but you know, she’s just not….” My sentence drifts when I see Ashley now at our table…

Aiden just laughs a little and puts his hand on my shoulder, then makes his way over to Kyla…I just shake my head to clear my thoughts and head over to the table as well… of course I sit next to Ashley. 

“Hey…so what are we doing tonight?  I think we should all go out to like Gray’s or something to celebrate the end of school!!!  Or, I mean there should be a party tonight.” Ashley says asking me more than everyone else. 

“Well…. I can do something later tonight, but I told Adrienne I’d go to the hospital with her to see her mom…apparently she had a really bad kidney infection.  She’s been in there for like 2 days now, but I think A said she should be getting out by Monday at the latest.” I told Ashley giving her an apologetic look. 

“Oh…that’s cool then, I can just chill at home till you get back at we can go where ever together,” She said smiling…God I just want to melt.

My attention snaps back toward the rest of the table having the same conversation than Ashley and me were having, “….Yeah, well I’ll probably do with Spencer and Adrienne, but we can meet up with you guys there later,” Chelsea said.
