Kasey and Riley giggled in unison.  Ashley brought her hands up to Michelle’s waist and started tickling her.  The small child laughed hysterically trying to swat away the hands that were tickling her sides.  “I’ll stop if you tell me whose idea this was.”  Ashley smiled.  Spencer’s heart fluttered as she watched them interact. 

Michelle pointed in direction of the Star Wars nerds at her side.  Kasey and Riley stopped laughing and watched as the young girl blatantly ratted them out.  “Uh oh.”  Riley whispered.

Ashley ceased her tickle attack and eyed the two.  She ushered the young girl to lean down and whispered something in her ear.  Riley and Kasey backed away slowly toward Aiden however Kyla wrapped her arms around the girl and stopped them from retracting.

“Thank you Kyla.”  Ashley grinned mischievously, stalking toward them.

“JR, use the force.  Stop them.”  Both of them brought their right hands up and waved it in front of them as if trying to stop them from advancing with the help of an unseen Force.  Kasey smiled thinking how crazy she must look.  ‘Yep…it’s official, I’ve watched Star Wars one too many times.’  She thought.

“It’s not working.”  Riley whispered exasperated, bringing his hands back down in a huff.  Michelle reached forward and began tickling her brother furiously.  Both children giggled excitedly.

“Don’t you dare Davies.”  Kasey held her hands up defensively while Ashley smiled devilishly.  Kyla stepped back and pounced on her girlfriend as both sisters feverishly tickled the short haired brunette.  “No fair!  I’m…I’m being double teamed!  Spencer… help me out here.”  Kasey managed to squeak out in between laughs.

“Sorry, you got yourselves into this.”  The blonde smiled as her girlfriend and cousin continued their onslaught.

Ashley and Kyla finally pulled away moments later.  Riley and Kasey were out of breath and sweaty from trying to fight away the tickle attack.  They returned their attention to the parade as a large flatbed truck made its way past them.  The float was inhabited by the Grinch and a dozen or so notable creatures from the renowned Dr Seuss tale.  Soon thereafter Shrek came into view surrounded by the other characters.  Riley and Kasey threw their fist into the air and yelled.  “Look how big he is JR!”  The Shrek costume was massive; Kasey shuddered, thinking of the poor sap that was stuck sweating inside that foam getup.
