“Come on you two, Aiden and Madison are waiting.  Plus we don’t want to miss Santa…Oh, and Barbie!”  Michelle squealed as Spencer urged them to finish up their game.  Riley and Kasey grimaced.  “We want to see Shrek and Donkey!”  Riley agreed, jumping up and being caught for a piggy back ride to the truck.  It wasn’t long before everyone was piled into the vehicle and on their way to Sunset Boulevard.

Upon arrival the streets were crawling with people; thousands of them packed every nook and cranny of the Sunset Strip.  Spencer felt a little overwhelmed but held on tight to her young cousins as they plowed their way through the crowd.

“Where was he supposed to meet us?”  Kyla asked her fingers intertwined with Kasey’s.  She held the girl closely, almost afraid to lose her in the crowd.  Ashley held on to Michelle’s free hand, earning squeals of delight as she and Spencer lifted the young girl into the air then set her down.

“We were supposed to meet here.”  Kasey dug out her cell phone from her pocket and dialed Aiden’s number.

“Big Bird calling DoDo Bird, I repeat, Big Bird calling DoDo Bird do you copy?”  Kasey spoke into the phone.  She knelt next to the kids and smiled.  Riley and Michelle giggled at the brunette’s antics. 

“Here guys, tell him to hurry up.”  Kasey whispered to the kids.  In unison the twins yelled into the phone “Hurry up!!!”

Aiden stuck a digit in his ear and jumped back as the command reached him.  “Very funny K, where are you?”   Kasey mimicked the gesture and replied.  “Sunset and corner of Vine.  What’s the hold up, where are you guys?” She asked.

“Almost there…”  He smiled and tapped on her shoulder, both flipping their phones shut.  “That was quick.”  Kasey laughed.

“Hey guys.”  Kyla snaked her arm around Kasey as people rushed by them.

Madison eyed the young children holding Spencer’s hands.  The blonde teen shook herself from the constant bustling of people and quickly introduced the two to her cousins.  “Oh, this is Riley and Michelle my cousins from Ohio.”

Riley slipped away from Spencer and gripped onto Kasey’s arm.  He had taken quite a liking to the girl, both happy that they shared a love for Star Wars.  Spencer watched in amusement as he held on smiling from ear to ear as Christmas music blared over the speakers.
