Previously…
The doctor bowed his head and said
Doctor: “I’m sorry…we did everything that we could do…she lost too much blood”
Shane closed her eyes and bowed her head sending out a private prayer…Alice sat down next to Bette and Tina…she embraced them both as they cried on her shoulder…the dean lowered his head and took his hat off…
Dean: “fuck…” he mumbled under his breath…he took his cellphone out and made a call he said “Bob..you wouldn’t believe it if I told you…” he walked away
The doctor stood not able to say anything…as Bette sobbed more and more
Bette: “YOU SAID SHE’D BE FINE….AND NOW SHE’S DEAD!”
Shane sat down and hugged the brunette…she rubbed her back saying…
Shane: “I’m sorry…I’m so sorry” she rubs her back
Bette cries harder and so does Tina…the blond shakes her head and says
Tina: “god…I should of been nicer…I was so mean”
Alice holds Tina tight saying
Alice: “shhh….don’t blame yourself…Shane we should get going”
Shane nod her head and caught her breath…she wiped her face and said
Shane: “yeah, let’s get out of here…”
Shane and Alice helped Tina and Bette to their feet…They walked out of the busy hospital back towards campus…

Yale University…Bette’s apartment…3 days later
Bette was in bed resting when Alice walked into the room…she sat down on the brunette’s bed and watched her sleep peacefully…Bette stirred in bed mumbling
Bette: “Alice” she moaned
The blond leaned into the brunette and rubbed her cheek…she said
Alice: “yeah, it’s me…how are you feeling kiddo?” she continues to caress Bette’s cheek
The brunette shook her head from side to side…she slowly sat up in bed and said
Bette: “I feel okay…” she inhales and says “where’s Tina?”
Alice: “she’s upstairs in her room…Shane’s up there now”
Bette glances over at the clock and sighs…she undoes the covers from around her waist and sits up planting her feet on the floor…Alice rubs her back and says
Alice: “Bette…I know you might not wanna hear this right now…but…you have to go back to school”
the brunette rose to her feet and went into the bathroom…she stopped at the bathroom door and visions of Karen flashed before her stabbing her heart…she held her hand over her chest and prayed in silence…she gazed back over to the tub and began crying all over again…Alice came to her side and held her…she cried and cried on the brunette’s shoulder…she said

so much better than tonight’s episode……the last 10 mins or so was the best….WHAT R THEY DOING WITH THE SHOW!!!!!!

That was great how they leaned on one another and supported each other. They need to continue to talk. I think Bette should go to the funeral. It’s sweet how Bette wants to care for the lizard. Thanks for the update.
