    Author Notes:

    Yale University…Bette’s apartment…3 days later…Bette and Tina bond after the accident…

    Tina didn’t respond at first..this scared Bette and she shook her harder screaming

    Bette: “TINA!….BABY WAKE UP…BABY PLEASE WAKE UP”

    Tina stirs and coughs out loud…she looks over and smiles…she says

    Tina: “Bette…” almost in the sound of a whisper

    Bette smiled…a tear falls from her eyes…she leans in and places a kiss against the blond’s cracked lips…she says

    Bette: “I missed you” she gazes into her eyes

    Tina smiles and coughs again…she says

    Tina: “I’ve missed you too…” she turns and faces her lover…she coughs before saying “what day is it?”

    The brunette shrugs her shoulders and says

    Bette: “I don’t know…I don’t remeber alot of things…do you?”

    Tina shook her head and said

    Tina: “no, not a thing besides the day when we left-”

    Bette places her finger to Tina’s lips…she says

    Bette: “shhh…don’t remind me…I know where your getting at” she then said “do you feel okay to walk?”

    Tina: “yes….how about you?” she gazed over at the brunette

    Bette: “yeah, I’m okay”

    Tina: “good, I think I need a shower” she smelled her under arms

    Bette smiles and says

    Bette: “yeah, I think I need one too…wanna join me?”

    Tina nods her head and says

    Tina: “yes, but you have to behave and be gentle” she then says “I’m not my normal self”

    she stands and so does Bette…she says

    Bette: “me neither…so that’s two of us”

    Tina chuckled cracking a half smile…she and Bette both head into the bathroom and showered…

    20 minutes later

    Bette and Tina were both dressed and ready for their first day back at school since the accident…she stared over at Tina and said

    Bette: “sweetie, if your not up to it we can stay home” she gazes over at Tina’s lips…they were turning pink again…she said “your lips they’re changing colors again”

    Tina: “oh my god they are” she runs over to the mirror and smiles…she says “they are” she smiles revealing her perfect whites

    She walks back over to the brunette…the two held hands and looked into one another’s eyes…she says

    Tina: “are you going to you know who’s funeral tomorrow?”

    Bette shrugs her shoulders and says

    Bette: “I don’t know…it depends on how I’m feeling tomorrow…” she adds “this is the best I’ve been in a few days…I wanna stay the way I am..but I’ll think about it”

    3. That was great how they leaned on one another and supported each other. They need to continue to talk. I think Bette should go to the funeral. It’s sweet how Bette wants to care for the lizard. Thanks for the update.
