    Alice and her big mouth. A visit to the hospital and a dinner.





    Chapter 127

     

    Alice sees Bette and Tina right away, even with the caps on. She drags Shane with her.

    “Hey, you two, are your trying to hide from us?” Alice asks as she approach the table, she stops dead in her tracks when she sees Tina.

    “T your hair” Alice says and drops down in an chair. Shane slowly takes a seat too.

    “Yeah, it’s gone, at least most of it. Bette cut it this morning.” Tina says.

    “Bette, why would you do that?” Alice asks.

    “Alice, it’s not like I did it without her knowledge.” Bette replies.

    “I asked her to do it.” Tina says. “It was falling out more and more, so I decided to just take it off, instead of see it go piece by piece.” Tina explains.

    “You look so different.” Alice says and glances over at Shane.

    “AliceYou look good TK.” Shane says and smiles, while she slaps her hand on Alice’s shoulder.

    Bette give Tina a reaffirming squeeze and smiles.

    “Sorry TK, I didn’t mean to It’s just different to see you without” Alice starts but is interrupted by Tina.

    “I know Al, it’s different for me too.” Tina replies and gets a serious look on her face. “I’m gone use the bathroom, I’ll be right back.” Tina says and stands up.

    “Baby, are you okay?” Bette asks silently.

    “Yeah.” She says and walks over to the restrooms.

    “Alice, you and your mouth.” Shane says.

    “I’m sorry. I just” She says.

    “Her hair has been one of her fears. She’s been scared to death about loosing it, thinking that I won’t find her attractive, and that comment of yours just confirm that fear, that she looks different.” Bette says. She stands up and walks towards the bathrooms. She slowly walks in.

    “T? baby? Are you in here?” Bette asks. No answer. She starts to look closely into the stalls, but it’s empty. She walks back out and over to the counter.

    “Kit, did you see Tina? Did she walk by here or?” Bette asks a little concerned.

    “No, I didn’t. is something wrong?” Kit asks.

    “Yeah, Alice and her big mouth. Commented on her new hairdo.” Bette says and walks back over to the table.

    “Is she okay?” Shane asks.

    3. Lauren…thanks for the update. SO HAPPY Tina is now cancer free. OMG the drama you have given us…you were killing me. LOL. If only once Al would think before she spoke…but then it wouldn’t be Al. Thanks for the lovely update. Hope classes went well for you Lauren.

    5. Lauren, I just caught up with the most recent chapters, about four or five of them to get to this one and I am so happy that Tina is going to be okay and they are still happy together. Can we please cut all the drama for awhile and let them live peacefully, loving each other and getting along. We love how you have treated thThanks for the post.is story and our girls. Keeping them together and loving each other.

    14. This seems to good to be true – i wonder what next in store for B&T – mayb this time it’s B’s turn to get cancer. After all, if u count the number of times these two have been faced with being in and out of hospitals – why not continue it to be that way – at least they seem to take turn to get something bad happening to them. First, it was Bette, then Tina, then Bette (almost), tina – so now it must be bette’s turn. But well, life is always abt tragedy right. anyway, even though my comments are cryptic – i do like ur story
