    Author Notes:

    Alice and her big mouth. A visit to the hospital and a dinner.

    “We could cook. Chicken Wok sounds really good.” Tina replies.

    “Okay, Chicken Wok it is. We have to swing by the store though.” Bette says and gets in.

     

    Another two hours later they were home and they had started dinner. Tina were really tired but she stayed at the kitchen table to assist Bette is she needed any help.

    “Baby, why don’t you go and lay down on the couch, I think I can handle it from here. I’ll come and get you when I’m done.” Bette says and smiles.

    “Are you sure?” She asks as she stands.

    “Yeah, I’m sure.” Bette says and walks over to her and give her a soft kiss.

    Tina walks into the living room and lay down. Bette continues her cooking.

    Bette let Tina sleep for about an hour. She kept the food worm in the oven.

    She walks over to the couch and kneels beside Tina. She leans in and places a soft kiss on her forehead. And she softly run her fingers down Tina’s chin.

    Tina starts to stir and then slowly opens her eyes.

    “Hey, baby.” Bette says and smiles.

    “Hey, how long did I sleep?” Tina asks.

    “About an hour.” Bette replies.

    “Oh, what about dinner? I’m sorry I slept.” Tina says and gently strokes Bette’s arm.

    “Baby, I’ve kept it hot for you. I didn’t eat either, so our dinner date is still on.” Bette says.

    “You did? Thank you.” Tina says and sit up straight with the help of Bette.

    “Yeah, I did. I saw how tired you were, you needed the rest. Come on, let’s eat.” Bette says and takes Tina’s hand and they walk into the kitchen. Tina takes a seat while Bette get the food.

    “It looks great.” Tina says and gives Bette a smile.

    “Oh, I forgot.” Bette says and jumps up and gets out two candles from on of the kitchen drawers. She places them on the table and lights them up. “A romantic feel to it.” Bette says and smiles.

    Bette pours apple juice to Tina and some Pellegrino to herself.

    “It looks amazing babe, you did a great job.” Tina says and smiles.

    “Thank you. I think I’m getting better in the kitchen.” Bette replies and smiles.

    “Yes, you are.” Tina says.

    They keep talking about the cancer finally being gone and they eat. They go to sleep that night, finally seeing the end, no more hospitals.

    3. Lauren…thanks for the update. SO HAPPY Tina is now cancer free. OMG the drama you have given us…you were killing me. LOL. If only once Al would think before she spoke…but then it wouldn’t be Al. Thanks for the lovely update. Hope classes went well for you Lauren.

    5. Lauren, I just caught up with the most recent chapters, about four or five of them to get to this one and I am so happy that Tina is going to be okay and they are still happy together. Can we please cut all the drama for awhile and let them live peacefully, loving each other and getting along. We love how you have treated thThanks for the post.is story and our girls. Keeping them together and loving each other.

    14. This seems to good to be true – i wonder what next in store for B&T – mayb this time it’s B’s turn to get cancer. After all, if u count the number of times these two have been faced with being in and out of hospitals – why not continue it to be that way – at least they seem to take turn to get something bad happening to them. First, it was Bette, then Tina, then Bette (almost), tina – so now it must be bette’s turn. But well, life is always abt tragedy right. anyway, even though my comments are cryptic – i do like ur story
