Chapter 139 A couple of days later, it’s Christmas eve. Everyone has moved over to the beach house. Maxine and Kit is helping Bette with the food. Tina and the twins were taking a nap and Tina’s family were to arrive in a couple of hours at four. “So Bette how is everything going?” Maxine asks. “It’s great. We haven’t really been alone just the four of us yet. And Tina is just.. just amazing.” Bette says and smiles over at Tina who is sleeping on the couch. “Yeah, I can see it. I’ve never seen you this happy and relaxed You have that glow too. Kind of the same as you had on your wedding day.” Maxine says and smiles. Bette smiles back and bow her head down. “Yeah, I am happy. I thought I would have this with Greg when I married him. I really did. He was the one for me. Bet when that didn’t work and then eventually divorcing him. I never thought I would find love again, I thought I had had my chance. But then I met her, a woman. Which was strange for me, since I was straight.” Bette says and lets out a small laugh. “I now believe in soul mates.” She adds. Kit and Maxine look at each other and smiles. “You have changed Bette.” Maxine says. “Changed?” Bette asks. “Yeah, before with Greg, you would never talk to me about your feelings and your relationship. It’s like you are a completely different person now.” Maxine says. “I am. She brings out the best in me and keeps it there.” Bette says and smiles. “Yeah, we can see that baby sis.” Kit says and gives Bette a soft touch on the shoulder. They continue to prepare the food and make small talk. An hour later Tina wakes up, she checks on the twins before she walks into the kitchen and joins the others. “Hey.” Tina says as she walks into the kitchen. “Hey baby.” Bette says and walks over to Tina and leans in for a kiss. “How did you sleep?” She asks. “Good I suppose.” Tina replies. “What time is it?” She asks. “They’ll be here in an hour or so.” Bette says. “Oh, so soon?” Tina replies. AHHH DAMN!! you got me reminiscing bout a lil sharpshooter in my family. he’s notorious for waiting for the diaper to come down before firing. LOL!! but that was a beautiful touch with the lil tux’s that was so adorable. i loved thank you. please post soon. PEACE.

I swear the exact same thing happened in my family. My nephew’s first xmas…he was wearing a tux my sister bought him and when she went to change him..he shot her point blank in the face. LMAO. Your story just brought back that priceless memory. It was hilarious. Love how they are sharing time with family and how they also need to be alone (all four of them). Thanks for the lovely update.

Not only was I hit,but they coulsn’t it the toilet. I put a sign up that said I aim to please,You aimto,PLEASE Love the suits, Tina does need to rest. Bette trys so hard to help.She just can’t feed them. thanks
