    Author Notes:

    Bette, Kit and Maxine talk. Bette and Tina get some needed alone time, talking.

    “Yeah, why don’t you go and take a shower and get dressed, I’ll watch the boys.” Bette says and smiles.

    “Yeah, a shower sounds good.” Tina says. Bette leans in for another kiss and then Tina leaves for the bathroom. Bette walks out in the living room and sees that Noah is awake. She carefully lifts him up.

    “Hi there, my precious.” She softly says and let him grab her index finger. “Ooh, you got quite a grip, don’t you.” She says and smiles. He looks up at her, trying to figure out who she is. After a few moments, Daniel wakes up too and starts to cry and also wants to be held. Bette smiles.

    “Can’t you just be asleep for a little while longer?” Bette says and smiles. She lay Noah down in his crib and proceeds to pick up Daniel. “Here we go. You couldn’t be asleep for a few more minutes?” Bette asks softly and smiles. He continues to cry. “Maybe you’re hungry. Are you hungry?” She asks as she holds him closely and rocking him back and forth. Then Noah starts to cry too. “Oh please, I know you are twins, but do you have to do everything at the same time?” Bette says and smiles down at Noah and then at Daniel.

    “Kit? Could you come in here?” Bette asks.

    Kit walks in and smiles at Bette.

    “Could you watch Noah while I get this one in to Tina?” Bette asks.

    “Off course.” Kit replies, she picks up Noah and starts singing to him.

    Bette walks into the bedroom, where Tina is getting dressed.

    “Baby, someone is hungry.” Bette says and walks up to Tina. She smiles and reaches out her arms for him. Bette carefully places him in Tina’s arms. Tina then takes a seat on the bed. Bette kneels beside and softly stroking Tina’s arm.

    “I wish I was him right now.” Bette teases and smiles up at Tina.

    “Yeah? You want a taste?” Tina teases back.

    “No, I think I’ll pass. I’ll get Noah, I’m sure he’ll be hungry too.” Bette says and stands up and leans down and kisses Tina on her forehead.

    Bette walks out to the living room again and finds Kit still singing to him. He’s crying and wiggling around. Kit looks up and stops singing.

    8. I swear the exact same thing happened in my family. My nephew’s first xmas…he was wearing a tux my sister bought him and when she went to change him..he shot her point blank in the face. LMAO. Your story just brought back that priceless memory. It was hilarious. Love how they are sharing time with family and how they also need to be alone (all four of them). Thanks for the lovely update.
