    Just an ordinary day, buying furniture.

    Chapter 39

     

    “Let’s go to the hotel and check out.” Bette says.

    “Yeah.” Tina replies.

    They arrived and parked the car.

    “Baby, you go ahead, I’m just gonna call Sarah and tell her.” Tina says a little excited.

    “Sure.” Bette replies and leans in for a quick kiss before she disappears through the main entrance.

    Tina takes up her cell phone and dials Sarah’s number. It rings a few times.

    “Hello?” Sarah says.

    “Hi, it’s me.” Tina replies.

    “Tine, hey, how are you? Are you back in L.A. yet?” Sarah asks.

    “No, actually we’re still in Raleigh, and we’ll probably be here the rest of the week too.” Tina replies.

    “That’s great.” Sarah asks curiously.

    “Yeah, look I was wondering if you’re doing anything later?” Tina asks

    “After 4 I’m free. Why?” Sarah asks back.

    “Well, you see, Bette and I have bought an apartment here and we need some help with some painting.” Tina says waiting for Sarah to respond. It’s silence on the other end.

    “Sarah? Are you there?” Tina asks after a few moments.

    “Yeah, sorry, I’m here Wow So will you be moving here or?” Sarah asks.

    “No, our life is still in L.A. But we’ll be visiting here more often. It will be like a vacation spot.” Tina replies.

    “I think it’s great Tina, and I’ll be there, where is it?” Sarah asks.

    “317 Morgan Street. On the corner of Morgan and Dawson.” Tina replies. “Do you know where it is?” Tina asks.

    “Yeah, I think so. I’ll find it. So I’ll be there at 4:30.” Sarah says.

    “Okay, thanks. And I’ll be calling Chris too, have some sibling bonding time, and a chance for you two to get to know Bette a little bit better.” Tina says.

    “Great. I’m looking forward to it.” Sarah says.

    They say goodbye and hang up. Then Tina calls Chris.

    “Chris Kennard speaking.” He says.

    “Hi, Chris, it’s me Tina.” Tina says.

    “Hey, how’s Californian weather this morning?” He asks.

    “I don’t know, but the weather in Raleigh is pretty good.” Tina replies with a smile.

    “You’re still here?” Chris asks surprised.

    “Yeah, maybe for the rest of the week.” Tina replies.

    “Wow, that’s great, so what do I owe this early phone call?” He asks.

      Well, even the sweetest fairy tales always have their dramatic moments, no ? Anyway, I always enjoy drama. Hmmm… but here, a short moment, I hope ! (lol) Your entire story is so tender… Drops of drama are ok, but not thunder ! (lol)

      Now, I really think our lovebirds should carefully test this beautiful king-size bed. Seriously, of course. Well… almost ! (lol) After all, they have to be absolutely sure it will be really comfortable, hmm ? Soooo essential ! *wink*

    11. i can feel how happy they are specially Tina is a dream come true for her…she should call her mother and ask her to bring food..lol..now they have to test the bed´s spring..lol..bring it on some love..love your story and i missed you please dont take so long to post again :o)
