    Chapter 43

     

    Next morning:

    The alarm goes off at 6 am. Tin wakes up first and turns it off. She rolls over and kisses Bette on the cheek, which makes Bette open her eyes slowly.

    “Mmm good morning baby.” Bette says sleepily.

    Good morning to you too. It’s time to get up.” Tina says.

    She jumps out of bed and head for the shower. 10 minutes later, she exits the bathroom and finds Bette still in bed, sound asleep. Tina walks over to Bette’s side and sits down next to her. She gently rubs Bette bare arm.

    “Babe? Time to wake up.” Tina says in a soft voice.

    “Yeah, just give me one second.” Bette replies with closed eyes.

    Tina smiles to herself. Bette’s so cute when she sleeps. She leans down and gently kisses her lips. Bette lets out a vague moan.

    “Mmm” Tina smiles and gets up. she walks into the kitchen and starts breakfast and coffee. A few minutes alter Bette enters the kitchen.

    “I’m so tired” Bette says and dumps herself into a chair.

    “the coffee is soon ready.” Tina replies and smiles over at her fianc. She sets the table and begins eating. A few sips later, Bette starts to wake up.

    “When is your plane leaving again?” Tina asks.

    “I think it is 12:30. I don’t remember for sure. The tickets are at the club.” Bette replies.

    “Okay, then we can leave together, our plane leave at 12. I’m picking up Jessie though, but her house is right around the corner from the club.” Tina says.

    “Okay.” Bette replies.

    They finish breakfast and start to get ready, and before they know it, they’re on their way.

    Tina sets Bette off at the Club, while she goes to pick up Jessie.

    Tina stopped outside the house a little before 9:30. She walks up to the door and knocks.

    It’s Stephanie who opens.

    “Hi, Ms. Kennard, come in.” She says.

    “Thanks, and please call me Tina.” Tina replies.

    “Okay, Tina. Jessie will be right down I think. She’s nervous, she’s been a little sick through the night.” Stephanie says.

    “Sick? Is she okay?” Tina asks.

    “Yeah, she’s getting there. She just needs a few minutes to clean up. It’s her first trip ever, except for moving, but that doesn’t count. But I understand her. She’s been through so much, and finally something good happens, I guess she’s afraid that she somehow will ***** it up.” Stephanie says.

    4. Another great chapter! I am so glad Tina is taking care of Jessie. She needs someone to look out for her. I like the fact that even though she herself doesn’t like flying, she forgot about her discomfort to make Jessie feel comfortable. I hope B & T will help her to make some friends. Post soon!

    11. So glad to have you back. I’m starting to like Jessie, especially since you promised us that she would be a good girl. She has had a very hard life and hopefully Tina and Bette will take good care of her.

      Make sure you do all your school commitments first before writing fan fiction. Ok, I’m starting to sound like some old grown-up woman, which I am not, but I know how important education is. I will stop for now LOL
