    They are off to the tournament, or at least on their way. Some turbulence…

    “Who’s Lara?” Jessie asks.

    “Oh, she’s Bette’s trainer and caddy.” Tina replies.

    “Okay.” Jessie says.

    “Bette? As in the golfer?” Stephanie asks.

    “Yes, the golfer.” Tina replies and smiles.

    “You know her?” Stephanie asks.

    “Actually I live with her, we are engaged.” Tina says and holds her breath for a reaction from Stephanie.

    “Oh, so you’re *****?” Stephanie asks trying to let the information sink in.

    “I guess so, but I don’t like labels. I fell in love with the person, and she happened to be a woman, so if that makes me *****, then I am.” Tina reply with a smile.

    Jessie says goodbye to Stephanie and they leaves.

     

     

    In the car:

    “So how long have you and Bette been together?” Jessie asks.

    “It’s almost a year now.” Tina says and smiles when she thinks of Bette.

    I see you have a ring on your finger” Jessie states.

    “Yeah, we got engaged last week actually. We sat the date to next year, next summer.” Tina replies.

    “Good for you, congratulations.” Jessie says and smiles.

    Tina stops outside the ‘staff only’ entrance, where Bette is already waiting.

    Jessie tenses up a bit and Tina senses it.

    “You okay?” Tina asks.

    “Yeah, I’m fine It’s just I mean She’s a celebrity.” Jessie replies while she looks intensely at Bette.

    “Don’t worry, she’s very down to earth.” Tina says and gets out of the car. Jessie slowly follows.

    Tina gives Bette a quick kiss.

    “Bette I want you to meet Jessie. Jessie, Bette.” Tina says introducing them.

    “Hi, Jessie, nice to meet you.” Bette says and reaches out her hand. Jessie carefully shakes it.

    “Hi Ms. Porter, it’s really nice to meet you too.” Jessie replies and blushes a little.

    “Oh, please call me Bette.” Bette says and gives her a huge smile.

    “Sorry” Jessie says, now blushing even more.

    “It’s okay.” Bette says, still smiling.

    “So shall we go?” Tina suggests.

    “Yeah, let’s.” Bette replies.

    Jessie turns and gets into the backseat. Bette gets into the front passenger seat.

    “Is Lara coming?” Tina asks.

    “No, she left this morning, and took my bag with her. She wanted to get started early with analyzing the course.” Bette replies.

    “Okay.” Tina says and drives off towards the airport.

    2. oh i am so glad you back..ive missed your story very much..it seems Jessie is a very lonely kid and seems Tina will be very important in her life for now on and i dont even have to say that Bette is adorable..amazing chapter as always and please dont forget about us now that you have a lot of parties to go..lol..thanks Lauren :o)

    4. Another great chapter! I am so glad Tina is taking care of Jessie. She needs someone to look out for her. I like the fact that even though she herself doesn’t like flying, she forgot about her discomfort to make Jessie feel comfortable. I hope B & T will help her to make some friends. Post soon!

    11. So glad to have you back. I’m starting to like Jessie, especially since you promised us that she would be a good girl. She has had a very hard life and hopefully Tina and Bette will take good care of her.

      Make sure you do all your school commitments first before writing fan fiction. Ok, I’m starting to sound like some old grown-up woman, which I am not, but I know how important education is. I will stop for now LOL
