    A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 84

    Chapter 84

They finished lunch with more small talk. Sarah and Jessie took the dishes after while Bette and Tina went into the living room to look at the papers.

“So this is it. As soon as we sign this, that house is ours.” Bette says with a smile towards Tina.

“Yeah.” Tina says a little dreamy.

“You are sure about that house?” Bette asks just to be sure.

“Yes, aren’t you?” Tina asks curiously.

“I have never been surer about anything in my whole life.” Bette replies and leans in for a kiss. Tina smiles back.

“Well then let’s do it.” She says.

    “Yeah.” Bette replies.

They sign the papers and then Bette has to leave for her appointment at the hospital.

“Baby, I have to go now, if I’m going to drop this off before the hospital.” Bette says.

“Yeah, are you sure you don’t want me with you?” Tina asks.

“Yeah, I’m sure. The nose is hurting more today, and I don’t think carrying you is the best right now.” Bette says as she turns and walks into the hallway and put on her jacket. Tina is still in the living room, she was surprised by what Bette said. ‘I’m I that much of a burden?’ She thinks to herself. Bette walks back in and leans down and place a quick kiss on Tina’s cheek then leaves.

“I’ll be back in a couple of hours okay?” She says.

Tina just nods and says “Uhm.” Bette was surprised by that reply from her. Her mood seemed changed in just a few seconds. But she was in a hurry so she left.

Tina stayed for a few minutes in the living room after Bette left. Both Sarah and Jessie stayed in the kitchen, but they saw that Tina was sitting alone in the living room. They decided that she needed some time alone, so they didn’t interrupt her.

In the car on the way over to Hailey Roberts, a light went off in Bette’s head. ‘I don’t think carrying you is the best thing now Did I really say that?’ Bette thought to herself. ‘That’s why Tina’s mood changed right before I left.’ She thinks. She picks up the phone and dials home. Jessie answers.

    1. im glad Bette make it up in time before Tina wonder more bad things..cant wait for the “move in” chapter..and Tina walking again soon will be great..great chappy Lauren thanks

    2. ALBEEZ – Thanks !! I truly hope to stay a big child all my life ! People who forgot this good old childish enthusiasm are sooo boring (… as the gang would say ! ^_^ )
… anyway, I’m just the typical passionate kind of person, about everything I love ! And I love a lot of things…

LAUREN – This new chapter show us how our dear Bette can be pretty intuitive ! That’s SO essential to react on time – and the best way – to unfortunate little blunders, to avoid any bad effects later.

An other sweet chapter of yours, dear Norway’s author ! Bravo !

    3. Aaahhh, to have such a perceptive partner would be heaven. Love how they are learning to read each other, and that they are openly communicating. It’s so nice that they both have the same security and generousity with everyone they come into contact with.

    4. Nice chapter, but I was surprise that Bette would say or start to say that sometimes that Jessie could get in the way. Even if she feels that way, I would think that she would have enough composure not to say it in her presence. I love that Bette realized how what she said sounded to Tuna and made up with her. Please continue Lauren.

    5. Lauren…thanks for the chapter. I’m glad Bette realized what she said before Tina got further upset. It’s nice that they can learn and reach out to one another. Thanks again.
