Chapter 83
On the way home Bette calls the real estate agent.
“Hi, this is Bette Porter.”
“Hello Ms. Porter. I have the papers ready for you and Ms. Kennard to sign.” Hailey says.
“Great, could you have it sent over to our apartment right away? I’m going out later, so I could drop them off by your office around two?” Bette suggests.
“Yes, I can do that. I’ll have them over in 30 minutes or so.” Hailey replies.
“Great, thank you.” Bette says.
They hang up just as they pull into the parking lot by their apartment building.
Bette jumps out and around the car, gets out the chair and then helps Tina out.
They got up and into the apartment. Sarah was sitting by the kitchen table reading the morning paper and drinking a cup of coffee.
“Hey, how was the physio?” Sarah asks.
“It was great, I started exercising some strength today.” Tina says a little enthusiastically as she looks up at Bette who smiles and leans down and kisses her on the lips.
Just then the doorbell rang.
Bette went to open it. It was the carrier with the house paper.
“Bette Porter? The young man asks.
“Yes, that’s me.” Bette replies.
“Could you just sign here.” The man says with a smile.
“Sure.” Bette replies. She signs and she gets the envelope. The young man leaves.
Bette walks back into the living room. She holds up the papers to Tina.
“They’re here?” Tina asks with a huge smile.
“Yes, baby, the papers for our new house.” Bette replies and walks over to Tina and kneels down in front of her.
She places the envelope on Tina’s lap.
“I can’t believe we’re buying a house.” Tina whispers to Bette.
“I know, but it’s amazing though.” Bette replies with a light squeeze on Tina’s hand.
“Yeah, it is.” Tina says as a single tear escape her eye. Bette reaches up and wipes it away. They sit in silence for a little while.
“Are you hungry baby?” Bette asks.
“Yeah a little.” Tina replies.
“Okay, I’ll fix us something. We’ll sign those after lunch.” Bette says and smiles.
“What are you making?” Tina asks curiously.
“Well, how about pancakes?” Bette asks.
“Bette, that’s breakfast food.” Tina replies.

i totally agree with you lauren..sex is not everything in a real relationship specially whem one of them are injuried..Bette is doing great about give to Tina all the time she need to recover and feel able to make love..and that is what makes their relationship so special..the way Bette makes Tina smille doing almost nothing..that kind of small gestures of love and affection and the way they feel safe..confortable around each other prove that ..theres no pressure and will know the right time…do i have to say i love it????..no?..ok love it..thanks Lauren cant wait for more :o)
don’t worry… we love a story also.. not only the sex.. (did i say that) … anyway… with all of the money bette has… she needs to hire a cook.. and i’m available… cheap too…

I enjoy the story at the pace you’re taking it. You’re right, it’s only been two weeks. There will be plenty of time for them to catch up once Tina’s legs are back in commission. Take this story at the pace you want it to go in. I’m lovin’ it!!!

i agree with the others you dont have to have sex to prove how deep in love you are with somebody even more when that person is not able to do this, what Bette could´ve do if Tina didnt walk again, leave her? love is not sex all the time they will have a lot of time to show that kind of love when Tina feel confortable to, looking forward for next chapter thank you L
This story is great, and it doesn’t always have to involve sex. Just reading about these two enjoying being with each other, the love, the fun they have it just gives you a sense of peace and happpiness which we would all apprecaite at the end of the day.
