As they pulled out of their kiss they could see that they weren’t ready to go out and face the public.
Tina cupped Bette’s face placing a sweet kiss on her lover’s lips. “Maybe we should go to your office and fix ourselves up before we go back out there.”
“I think that’s a great idea.” Bette said as she brushed her hand against the side of Tina’s face.
Tina turned to walk towards Bette’s office putting her hand out for Bette’s. Bette took Tina’s hand in her own raising it to place a soft kiss on Tina’s hand. She stepped in behind Tina wrapping her arms around her waist holding the woman she loved close. Tina closed her eyes leaning back into Bette’s loving embrace, her hands softly caressing Bette’s. Bette nuzzled her face into Tina’s neck smelling the unique scent of her T before placing a sweet kiss on the side of Tina’s neck.
“Come on T lets go see what our son is up to.”
Bette and Tina walked toward Bette’s office walking passed the person hidden around the corner.
“Melvin there you are did you find Bette?”
Melvin turned to Peggy a thoughtful look on his face. “Not exactly she and Tina were on their way to her office to check on their son.”
Peggy was looking at Melvin intently and knew he wasn’t telling her the whole story. “Well since you don’t appear to want to disturb them take me back to the main floor I need your opinion on a painting.”
Melvin smiled taking Peggy’s arm. “It’d be my pleasure.”
Bette and Tina slowly made their way to her office feeling more in love and committed to each other after their talk. Bette occasionally would kiss Tina’s bare shoulder whispering sweet words into her partner’s ear prompting Tina to stop and turn to kiss the beautiful brunette.
As they approached the door they could hear their very vocal family.
Tina turned to her partner smiling at the questioning expression on her face. “They’re playing video games. Eli can get intense when he’s playing a game that’s why he can only play for a certain amount of time.” Tina said before giving her partner a quick kiss.

Now this is the love that I have known is in their hearts. Melvin finally got it and it is nice to see the Porter-Kennard clan coming together as one big family. Nobody will be able to go against them because there is back up now. You had started a story earlier where both Tina and Bette had older children. I hope that you will continue that story when you have completed this story. Of course I would like for this story to go on forever but I am sure that it will come to an end at some point.

Tori I love this story. You sure know how to draw me into the story with so many angles going on…from Melvin, to Ava, meeting all the new family, and all the ups and downs along with it. I loved how you had the B&T handle everything. I especially liked the conversation in the hallway that Melvin overheard – I’m so glad that it has finally sunk into his thick head/hardened heart. It will be good for Bette, Tina, Eli and the whole family. I’m glad B&T both controlled themselves with Ava at the opening. I don’t know if I could have if I were Tina, after knowing what she said to Bette I would tend to believe that Ava had planned her and Bette’s one-niter, she did throw their intimate discussion regarding lost loves up in Bette’s face after all. Excellent post T! Congrats on the internship! Try to drop us a new chapter when you get a chance! I’ll be waiting…
Toribio, That was wobderful, so full of love, kindness and respect. Bette and Tina really belong together in your universe. I love it when then talk and show their true feelings in these hidden little moments. Fantastic to see that Bette is willing to let Tina in completely and inhabit her mind, soul and body. Tina taking the lead and sorting things out with Ava was brilliant too. The she-wolf was protect her mate and cub and unfortunately for Ava, ready to do whatever it takes. Good to see Melvin admit that he was wrong and not respects his daughter and her family as his own. Awesome. More please. Many thanks for this delightful and delicious drama, Your Loyal Fan.

This was great! I loved the path you took! I’m already thinking they will name Bette’s baby CHRIS, keeping the theme from ELI’s name. And, it works for a boy or girl!
