    B&T 9 years after season 1: That night and a big day at the beach

    Wednesday night


     

    Eli had convinced Bette to watch one of his skating dvd’s, and was cringing at all the different ways people seemed to be falling.

     

    Bette: "um you did say they were professionals right?"

     

    Eli: "Yeah different skaters skate for different sponsors, professionals skate for different teams kind of like pro sports but on smaller scales. Why?"

     

    Bette: "Well they seem to fall a lot, and then they just get up and do it all over again."

     

    Eli: "Yeah but they stick with it and eventually they land it. I think its cool that they show them falling. It shows that even the professionals fall, it gives hope to skaters who are starting out and falling on their butts every few minutes."

     

    Bette: "I didn’t see it that way…but it looks so painful, doesn’t it look painful?"

     

    Eli: "I like to see them wipe out. My uncle Ollie says it’s because I’m a boy."

     

    Bette: "So do you do tricks like that?"

     

    Eli: "No way they do sick tricks that I can only dream of landing, but I can do a few things. Hey Bette do you think we can go to a skate park I looked it up before coming down here and there are a lot in California, there are even some by the beach. I wrote them all down on a list."

     

    Bette: "You want to go to one of these places tomorrow?"

     

    Eli: "Can we?"

     

    Oh no how does Tina ever say no to that face. That hopeful look on his face the silent pleading in his eyes, how could she possibly refuse him.

     

    Bette: "Show me the list and if you get the okay from your mom we can go."

     

    Eli: "Thank you so much Bette. I’ll be right back."

     

    Bette was putty in his hands, but she loved to make him happy. She turned back to the t.v. and yet another skater was on the ground. But she had to admit they did perform some amazing looking tricks. Before she could get comfortable the phone rang. Bette paused the dvd and reached over to answer the phone.

    1. Nice long chapter that was greatly appreciated. I just had a feeling that Eli would get hurt while skateboarding. Don’t make his injuries severe, please. We don’t want B & T’s reunion and summer at the beach ruined. ;-)

    9. Thanks for the long chapter. I had a feeling something was gonna happen at the skate park, hopefully it’s nothing serious. Please don’t let Tina flip out. Too bad her surprise was ruined. I hope Bette gets to spend alot of the summer at the beach house (with some NC-17 rated chapters) I am glad her and Eli are bonding so well. Please post soon.

    11. This is a heck of a way for Tina to come face to face with Bette. But this will also will allow her to see just how much Eli means to Bette. I hope that after Eli is taken care of the Bette and Tina get to spend some quality time together. Thanks for the post and anytime that you write is appreciated.
