Tina: "He’s a really good listener isn’t he?"
Bette: "Tina…"
Tina: "I’m sorry I didn’t mean to surprise you."
Bette: "No it’s okay I was just…"
Tina: "You don’t have to explain. I’ve talked to him a few times especially this past week. There’s been a lot of new developments."
Bette: "Good developments I hope."
Tina: "Very good. I just came back out real quick to tell you that Eli might need some help untying the plastic I wrapped around his cast when he’s done. I told him to call you if I’m not out of the shower yet."
Bette: "No problem. I’m almost done here. I’ll help when he’s ready."
Tina: "Thanks babe and it was really nice of you to make breakfast and clean up. It’s been a long time since anyone’s done this for me, besides Eli. I’m going to go shower real quick, I’ll be right out."
Tina took off to her bedroom. Leaving Bette with Nero once again.
Bette: "See she called me babe again…So she hasn’t had anyone special in a long time. I wonder if she’s ever lived with anyone else. Tina did say that she was really careful not to let Eli get too attached. Obviously she’s had relationships, like Alice said Tina’s hot, but I don’t think it’s ever been really serious. If she had ever let another woman move in with her and Eli I think they’d probably still be together. I wish you could talk. I guess I’ll have to ask her myself if it ever comes up…"
Eli: "BETTE…"
Bette: "I’ll be right there. Come on Nero let’s go help Eli."
Bette helped Eli and they went outside to enjoy some beach air. Tina joined them shortly after not in a bathing suit like Bette had hoped, but rather in a t-shirt and shorts.
"So Eli are you ready to get in the pool?"
"Yeah." Tina and Eli were heading to the pool when Tina turned back.
"Are you coming Bette?"
Bette smiled. "I’m right behind you."
"Okay Eli remember you have to stay on the steps. I don’t want your cast to get wet."

Nothing has really changed between them except a few years. They are still as hot for each other as they ever were. And I am glad to see it. Hooray for Eli. Love that boy. Post soon please.

I love their dialogue as well as the hidden thoughts being shared through convos with Nero and just in their head. Nice this is going slowly for them to really take the time to get closure on their past before they jump into the future! Hope you get to post again sooner than you think you can!

T – you have writer’s block??? Are you sure, cuz it sure doesn’t seem like it! I love this story – you write all the characters perfectly, and you have me laughing through B&T’s dialogue quite a bit. Hope you’re un-blocked and able to post in the not-too-distant future! I can’t wait for more!

Awwww so sweet and all the flirting is soooo cute and great, but at the same time really difficult for them. Please let them talk reeeeally soon, they need that talk to see if they can be together again. Writers block…where??? I can’t see it LOL. Post as soon as possible….
