"Bette you’re welcome to see us anytime you want. I just don’t want you to feel guilty about going to work…."
"I won’t have to work all day Monday. I’ll meet with my lawyer, get a quick update from James and then I’m all yours."
"Great we can probably have lunch together. Besides I still have to look into finding a closer doctor for Eli’s check-ups."
"I want to go with you."
Tina smiled at how quick Bette replied. "You’re welcome to come but you don’t have to."
"I might have some more questions by then, plus he has to get his stitches out on Thursday, that’s what Dr. Marin said."
"I know babe. I’ll make an appointment for Thursday. Do you have anything scheduled on that day?"
"I was supposed to meet with one of the artists but I can push that back to some other day."
"You don’t have to…"
"It won’t be a problem. I really want to go, okay?"
"Thanks Bette. You know I’m really loving this maternal side of yours."
Tina and Bette had drifted closer to each other as they were talking.
"T if you get any closer I don’t think I’ll be able to keep from kissing you."
"I’m having the same problem, but we really can’t do anything in front of Eli…" Tina turned back towards Eli and saw that he was keeping himself entertained with Nero. That’s when Bette snaked her arm around Tina’s midsection, and buried her face into Tina’s neck.
"I’m really glad you brought Nero….I know we can’t start anything until we’ve talked more, I just don’t think I can last that long."
Tina’s eyes had closed when she felt Bette’s breath on her neck. "It is becoming much more difficult keeping our hands off each other, and all that harmless flirting isn’t so harmless….."
"I love it when you tease me, it’s just I’m used to getting some sort of payoff afterwards."
"That was how it usually worked…" Tina turned around and was now facing Bette. "Okay obviously we are very attracted to each other…."
"That’s an understatement…." Bette was wearing a very sexy smile and noticed that Tina was biting her lower lip.

Nothing has really changed between them except a few years. They are still as hot for each other as they ever were. And I am glad to see it. Hooray for Eli. Love that boy. Post soon please.

I love their dialogue as well as the hidden thoughts being shared through convos with Nero and just in their head. Nice this is going slowly for them to really take the time to get closure on their past before they jump into the future! Hope you get to post again sooner than you think you can!

T – you have writer’s block??? Are you sure, cuz it sure doesn’t seem like it! I love this story – you write all the characters perfectly, and you have me laughing through B&T’s dialogue quite a bit. Hope you’re un-blocked and able to post in the not-too-distant future! I can’t wait for more!

Awwww so sweet and all the flirting is soooo cute and great, but at the same time really difficult for them. Please let them talk reeeeally soon, they need that talk to see if they can be together again. Writers block…where??? I can’t see it LOL. Post as soon as possible….
