    B&T reconnect 9 years after season 1: Bette spends more time with Tina and Eli

     

     

    Bette softly laughed. “Will we by any chance be sharing the same room?”

     

     

    Now Tina was laughing as she and Bette picked up the bags and began walking to the house. “Babe I just extended your stay for the foreseeable future….”

     

     

    “I got it, don’t push my luck.”

     

     

    “I won’t say it’s out of the question, but we’ll take things as they come. We just have to keep talking to each other. We’ll know when it’s right.”

     

     

    “I can do that…Am I sleeping in the room closest to yours?”

     

     

    They were already inside the house; it seemed that everyone was already outside by the pool. Tina turned and smiled at Bette. “If that’s what you want. You’re in luck Alice left the room next to mine alone…” Tina walked into one of the bedrooms with Bette trailing close behind her.  “This room is pretty big you’ll have a lot of room to move around and it has a great view of the ocean. It doesn’t have its own bathroom, but there’s one a little further down the hallway or you can use my bathroom.”

     

     

    Bette smirked at Tina. “Are you giving me complete access to your room?”

     

     

    Tina shook her head and smiled. “Is this room okay?”

     

     

    “It’s great…perfect. This will be the best summer ever.”

     

     

    “Are you really going to move in? I mean you can stay here as long as you want but your gallery’s opening in a week…”

     

     

    “Of course I’ll have to bring some more clothes down here and some other stuff, but as far as work is concerned they can reach me on my cell. I’ll bring my laptop and I saw that there’s an office here if it comes to that. I’ll tell James to forward things here, but the gallery is pretty much ready.”

     

     

    “Wow it sounds like you’re here to stay.”

     

     

    Tina was sitting on the bed when Bette sat next to her and put her arm around her shoulder. “T I told you I want to be with you. Do you think we’re going too fast?”

     

     

    Tina shook her head. “That’s the thing it doesn’t feel like we’re rushing. I feel like I did when we first started dating…”

     

     

    “Always wanting to be around each other…”

     

     

    “But I still feel so close to you…”

     

     

    Bette gave Tina a soft kiss. “So we’ll keep going at our own pace.”

     

     

    “That sounds good…” Tina gave Bette a quick peck before getting off the bed. “I’ll let you settle in; I’m going to go check if Alice is back.”

     

     

    “Okay. I’ll be right out…T?”

     

     

    Tina turned back towards Bette. “I love you.”

     

     

    Tina smiled at how great everything seemed to be going. “I love you too babe. I’ll see you outside.”

     

     

    “Okay.”

     

     

    Both felt solid, they were going to start having some big conversations, but they felt secure that they’d still have each other in the end.

    2. toribio, thanks for the nice, long post! A lot is happening, but the pace still seems good. I hope they really do talk before making love; they did the opposite previously, and that’s part of what put the distance between them in the first place! Let them truly do what they need to do to start again on solid ground! Sweet, sweet story once again!

    7. Toribio, I love your story. One of my favorite. I think that was one of the sweetest chapters! You can really feel the love and tenderness between those two. And Eli as their chaperon is just too cute! I don’t think they’re rushing at all. At this stage in their reconnection, I think it’s perfectly natural that they are all over each other, and I actually believe that you’re doing a great job in having them holding back that tiny necessary bit, until they feel it’s right to totally let go. But you’re very good at letting us know that we’re getting there! Thanks a lot.

    12. I never get tired of reading this story. Thanks for the update. The pace could be a bit faster, but I actually think things are moving along quite nicely. Eli is too funny “Get a Room”. Somehow I don’t think Bette being in the room next to Tina’s is going to last very long. Looking forward to your next update.

    17. I love this story and it does not matter if it a slow burn or a quick back together as long as they do get back together. I am glad that you have been able to post. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

    19. I realize that bette and Tina need to talk. Bette about why Tina never told her about Eli and now Tina knowing that Bette had no pictures of her, so I’m expecting the drama I hope it will be just enough to move them forward together. cause I’m afraid if this doesn’t work out, Eli will be crushed
