    B&T CHapter 23

     

     

    “We can make plans for you to come down the weekend after or I can try and move my schedule around and I can try and come down, I don’t want you to worry T, we’ll figure it out”

     

     

    “Babe, I know how busy you are with the show, I know how hard it was for you to get Friday off to be with me and now I’m not going to be there, I feel so bad”

     

     

    “Baby things happen all the time that we can’t help, Tina when we decided to take our relationship to the next level and we talked about how hard a long distance relationship was going to be, we knew things like this were going to come up. I guess we’ve been really lucky that it hasn’t affected us more. Now that were both getting busier with our lives and our careers more things are sure to come up we can’t control, we’re just going to have to work a little harder to make it work.”

     

     

    “But Bette it’s been so long since I’ve seen you since we’ve spent time together, I miss you so much, and it’s your birthday we had plans.  You know what, I’m coming, screw the workshop”

     

     

    “T, you’re not going to come down don’t be silly, this is an amazing opportunity for you you’re not going to ruin it just to come and see me”

     

     

    “But..”

     

    “NO! Tina NO BUTS!” Bette took a deep breath

     

    “Tina, I promise we’ll figure something out, please stop crying I hate hearing you sound so sad.” Bette said

     

     

    “K” Tina whispered

     

     

    “I love you”  Bette closed her eyes she whispered those words to Tina hoping Tina knew just how much her love was for her, hoping to make Tina feel better, Bette really did hate hearing Tina sound so sad, it ripped at her heart.

     

     

     

     

    “I love you too, so much” Tina whispered back

     

     

    “T, Promise me you’re not going to worry about it anymore”

     

     

    “K”

     

     

    “Teeeeeee”

     

     

    “I promise”

     

     

    “I’ll call you tonight ok?  I have a meeting with Franklin in 10 minutes so I have to hang up, don’t worry about it anymore T ok?”

    6. For all Bettes smarts sometimes she doesn’t think off the tip end of her nose. All she’s gotta do is go to LA herself and they can still have their weekend and celebrate her birthday, besides all the rest of the family is out there and it would be a real celebration.     10. Hey Iluvmuzic, This was another interesting chapter. What a shame that Bette and Tina couldn’t be together.They know what a big part of one another their careers are. Giving up this passion would ultimately affect their relationship as resentment can build up and destroy the love they share. Both Bette and Tina are independent and successful women. They need the daily challenge of their employment to give them purpose and opportunities to follow their dreams.Yes, Tina knows this weekend is an important celebration for Bette and she wants to be there. This is where real life takes control then chews you up and spits you out.Bette does understand why Tee can’t be there and most importantly wants Tina to do well at her course.These are bumps on the road which Bette and Tina can tranverse by keeping talking and getting together when mutually best.I do hope that Bette dicusses I get the feeling there will be more to this twist real soon.More please and many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
