    A Single Mom Meets Someone New Ch 88

    Bette and Tina waited somewhat impatiently for Gillian. 

    “Did you try calling Jaime?” Bette asked. 

    “Jaime said they should be here any minute.” Tina said. 

    “They?” Bette asked. 

    “Gillian’s bringing some girl named Grace.” Tina said. 

    “Oh. Finally.” Bette saw Gillian walking hand in hand with a sexy brunette.

    “Hey guys.” Gillian said smiling. 

    “I’m glad to see you aren’t dead.” Tina said. 

    “Sorry. I figured Bette would fill you in.” Gillian said. 

    “I’m still upset with you.” Tina said. 

    “I can deal with that can you?” Gillian said giving Bette a look. “Anyway this is Grace. Grace is these my Moms Tina and Bette.” 

    “Nice to meet you.” Tina said shook Grace’s hand. 

    “Let’s do this. Who wants to go first?” Gillian said. 

    “You go you’ve got more people to talk to.” Bette said. 

    “Ready?” Gillian asked Grace. 

    “As I’m gonna be.” She said. 

    Bette and Tina watched as Grace and Gillian walked to the middle of the short red carpet and stopped. They both looked completely comfortable. 

    “Wow. Looks like Gill may have found a keeper.” Bette said. Tina watched Gillian closely. 

    “Maybe. She looks slightly familiar.” Tina said. Gillian and Grace moved over to the reporters. Grace never flinched. She held Gillian’s hand through the whole thing. 

    Bette and Tina took their turn on the carpet and only stopped to talk to one reporter. They answered the usual questions about the show. They never answered personal questions. 

    Gillian and Grace entered the museum and began mingling and analyzing the pieces of art. Discussing each one even arguing about one or two.

    Bette and Tina never let them too far out of their sight. Gillian and Grace stood in the middle of the Gallery talking to Shane and Dana when Alice, Skylar and Liz (Skylar’s girlfriend) walked up.

    “Hey guys we’ve been looking for you.” Alice draped her arms over Gillian and Shane’s shoulders. 

    “Gross, Al you’re drunk.” Gillian said in reference to Alice’s breath. 

    “No I’m not.” She slurred. 

    “Yeah you are.” Gillian turned away from her.

    1. Hey Charmed. Finally some good feelings as Gillian and Skylar move on from their relationship and break-up. I do hope that an enduring friendship will develop now that soon time has past and they are both in new partnerships. It was fun to have Bette and Tina sit back here and let Gillian take the lead.
