    Opening night at MOCA.

    “That’s my favorite one. It took a lot of begging on Bette’s part to get me to agree to let it be part of the show. She still doesn’t know it’s yours.” Skylar looked over at Gillian. 

    “I’m sorry.” Gillian said. 

    “Sorry for what?” Skylar said. 

    “I should have said it a long long time ago. You were only trying to help and I freaked and I shouldn’t have. I pushed you way when I needed you the most and I’m sorry.” Gillian couldn’t do it. She couldn’t hold in the tears anymore they streamed down her face.. 

    “I shouldn’t have let you. It’s not just your fault. I walked away because I wasn’t strong enough to stand at your side anymore. And as much as I wish it were different now it isn’t.” Skylar said. 

    Gillian looked at Skylar. 

    “I know.” Gillian said. 

    “I know you just met Grace but she’s a good one. Don’t blow through her like you have all the others.” Skylar said. Gillian looked at her inquisitively. “Did you really think I wouldn’t be keeping an eye on you? It doesn’t matter if we’re together or not, I’m always going to love you and care about you.” 

    “Helena has a very big mouth.” Gillian said. “You couldn’t have not known if you tried.” 

    “True, but I wanted to know. I needed to know that you were okay if at least physically anyway.” Skylar put her hand on Gillian’s. 

    “Where do we go from here?” Gillian asked. 

    “I would really like for us to be friends. It’s been so hard not having you in my life. Not being able to pick up the phone and call.” Skylar said. 

    “I must have dialed your number a million times just to say hi, to hear your voice.” Gillian said. Skylar couldn’t stand it anymore. She pulled Gillian to her and hugged her. They held on to each other for awhile letting each others touch heal the wounds of the past. 

    Gillian pulled away first. 

    “I can’t tell you how much I needed that.” Gillian said. Skylar smiled. 

    “My arms are always open to you.” She said. Gillian smiled and looked back at the painting. 

    “She really doesn’t know it’s mine.” Gillian said. 

    “Nope. You signed your pseudonym.” Skylar said. 

    “Let’s continue to keep that to ourselves why don’t we.” Gillian said. 

    “You’re secret is safe with me.” Skylar said. 

    “What secret would that be?” Tina asked. Gillian whipped around quickly. 

    “I’m gonna go find… yeah I’m just gonna go.” Skylar said. 

    “Will you tell Grace I’m okay, but ask her to give me a minute before she comes back here?” Gillian asked. 

    “Yeah Sure.” Skylar smiled at her and left. 

    Gillian already knew what Tina wanted.

    1. Hey Charmed. Finally some good feelings as Gillian and Skylar move on from their relationship and break-up. I do hope that an enduring friendship will develop now that soon time has past and they are both in new partnerships. It was fun to have Bette and Tina sit back here and let Gillian take the lead.
