    Author Notes:

    As their yacht date comes to an end, Bette and Tina figure out the beginning of their future…

     “Jesus…Bette…you are…God…that was…I’m…”  Tina was visibly flushed and was unable to form a coherent sentence, as her shallow breaths continued.

     Bette tried to regulate her own breathing and used all her strength not to chuckle at an extremely flustered Tina Kennard.  She gave Tina a sly smile.  “Good variety?”

     Tina exhaled deeply and finally gathered her thoughts.  “No…”

     “No?”  Bette tried to suppress the look of shock forming on her face.

     “I think I’ll need an even greater selection in the future.”

    “Oh really?”  Bette arched her eyebrow and gave Tina huge smile.

     “Yes.  And I may need some of them repeated…you know, to take accurate mental notes for reference.”  Tina spoke in a matter of fact tone.

     “But of course,” Bette nodded her head in agreement.  “Serious matter, after all.”

     “Very serious.”  Tina tried not to laugh but failed.

     “Seriously,” Bette added, unable withhold her chuckle.

     ‘Am I truly gay?’  Tina could attempt to lie to herself all she wanted…but kisses never lie and Bette Porter’s kisses had already given her the truth.

     

    As all good things come to an end, so did their time on the yacht.  A crew member had advised they would be returning to port shortly.  Bette and Tina decided to enjoy their last moments together back on the upper deck surrounded by the illumination provided by the stars, moonlight and from the city’s lights as they neared shore. 

     

    The late evening air was brisk and the wind sent a chill through their bodies. 

     

    “Are you cold, Tee?”

     

    Tina did not want to appear a wimp.  “It’s not too cold…”

     

    Bette let out a soft chuckle.  “Well, I’m freezing and you’re starting to shiver!”

     

    Tina laughed at being busted.  “Okay, I’m not cold…I’m very cold!”

     

    “Would it be alright if I kept you warm?”  Bette asked, not realizing she was biting her lip as she waited for a response.

     

    “Yes.”

     

    Bette wrapped her arms loving around Tina and ran her hands over Tina’s arms in an attempt to fight the cold.  “I can go get a blanket from downstairs if you…”

     

    Tina pulled Bette’s arms even tighter around her.  “Never let go.”  Tina replied honestly, loving the feel of the warmth Bette provided.

    2. Luv, I have to tell you something,um… reading this story makes me wanna fall in love *blushes* :) I am so glad I have finally caught up with the story. Loved everything about this chappie, the witty banter, the flirting it was great and I was sad that the date had to come to an end :( I am looking forward to many more Tibette dates like this one!     13. I just caught up and was extremely excited. Their date was incredible and lovely. If there had been and iceberg out in the ocean, the heat radiating from them would have melted it in seconds.

    17. oh Luv – another awesome update but then I wouldn’t have excepted anything else being my roomie and all that :) Love this story so very much. I really like the humour, the teasing, the sweetness adn the slow romance. Great update and thank you. You are so right with what the show gave us thank god for fanfic. On another note -steak and cake (Chocolate my favourite)and homemade in that – I could definitely get used to this – I might not move out :)Oh and by the way – this isn’t a buttering up :D

    19. i actually liked how their date ended. it was super sweet and cute. i love how vulnerable tina-considering that this is something “new” to her. and bette is just willing to give her the time. and yup…to fall in love! how great the feeling…and it all began with jacket :) i love your writing, girl!
