    As their yacht date comes to an end, Bette and Tina figure out the beginning of their future…

     

    Bette laughed and simply smiled as her arms encompassed Tina’s body.

     

    Tina turned around so they were facing each other.  “What’s so amusing?”

     

    Bette tried to stifle the laughter.  “What you said made me think of something.”

     

    “What did I say?”

     

    “Never let go.”

     

    “What’s so funny about that?” Tina questioned.

     

    “Given the scenery…on the bow of the yacht… ‘Never let go’…it was just so Titanic-like.”  Bette smiled.

     

    Tina laughed.  “You want to hang on the front railing and shout out ‘I’m the Queen of the World!’ or something?”

     

    Bette chuckled.  “I’d rather remain right here…just like this.”  She kept her arms around Tina and pressed her forehead gently against the blond.

     

    “Good call, Bette…”

     

    “I think so too.”

     

    Tina teased, “After all, it should have been ‘I’m the Flirt Master of the World!’ you know?”

     

    Bette rolled her eyes, “Whatever, Tee.”

     

    When they arrived at port, Bette and Tina thanked Cloud Nine’s Captain and crew profusely, as they left the yacht.  The evening had been so full of laughter, fun, romance and pure delight in getting to know each other.  For the first time during their date, there was a brief period of awkward silence on their ride home to West Hollywood.

     

    As she looked out the passenger window, there were so many thoughts swirling in Tina’s mind.  She thought about the date they had thus far. 

     

    ‘There are not enough adjectives to describe it…but the top of the list would include romantic, exciting and incredible.  Then there’s Bette…words fail me.  Bette is everything I never even knew I wanted…and more!’

    Tina wondered what was in store in their future and hoped to find some clarity…

     

    “Bette…”

     

    “Yes Tee?”

     

    “I wanted to ask…well, where exactly are we?”

     

    “Let’s see…” Bette glanced at the road ahead for a second and then responded, “Just exiting Newport Beach city limits.”

     

    Tina was caught off guard with Bette’s response and then realized they were not on the same page.  “No…I meant…where are we headed?

     

    Bette glanced at Tina who had a concerned expression with furrowed eyebrows.  “I thought I was taking you home?”

    2. Luv, I have to tell you something,um… reading this story makes me wanna fall in love *blushes* :) I am so glad I have finally caught up with the story. Loved everything about this chappie, the witty banter, the flirting it was great and I was sad that the date had to come to an end :( I am looking forward to many more Tibette dates like this one! So hurry will ya…thanks! ;)

    13. I just caught up and was extremely excited. Their date was incredible and lovely. If there had been and iceberg out in the ocean, the heat radiating from them would have melted it in seconds.

    17. oh Luv – another awesome update but then I wouldn’t have excepted anything else being my roomie and all that :) Love this story so very much. I really like the humour, the teasing, the sweetness adn the slow romance. Great update and thank you. You are so right with what the show gave us thank god for fanfic. On another note -steak and cake (Chocolate my favourite)and homemade in that – I could definitely get used to this – I might not move out :)Oh and by the way – this isn’t a buttering up :D

    19. i actually liked how their date ended. it was super sweet and cute. i love how vulnerable tina-considering that this is something “new” to her. and bette is just willing to give her the time. and yup…to fall in love! how great the feeling…and it all began with jacket :) i love your writing, girl!
