    Alice & Tasha: Sapphos Ai

“Shit what the fuck do we do,” Tina asked Bette.

“Damn……damn it I swear uhmmm let me think,” Bette says trying to figure out what to do next.

“Bette I think maybe we’re too late,” Tina says worriedly.

“Well there’s only one way to find out,” Bette says grabbing Tinas hand walking towards the shed.

Still walking towards the sound of the drilling Alices eyes were finally able to adjust and when they did she was in awe at what she saw. The wooden beams supporting the roof foundation had been replaced. Gone was the old rotting pine wood all of which had been replaced with fresh purpleheat and cedar wood. The beams that provided support for the roof of the shed were replaced with purpleheart wood. Tina loved the fact that the wood was purple and that it would provide some much needed color to the inside of the shed. Bette loved how smooth and rich the cedar felt and looked and wanted the wood to fill in the aligning wood planks in between the beams. On each beam there were hand crafted engraved roses that trailed up and down each beam. The roses were so detailed it appeared as if the roses were literally draping from the ceiling. The shelves that housed some of Tinas and Bette belongs were all replaced and painted. Alice had only been inside Bette and Tinas shed a few times and to see the physical remolding progress it looked like something straight out a magazine. The beams, the shelves, and each piece of wood contained Bette and Tinas initials that were engraved in cursive. It was beautiful and for Alice she couldn’t wait to see the finished product. With so much detail Alice figured that the person doing the work must have been working on this for months. She even thought to grab a business card from the person as well as she now considered remodeling her shed as well.

Alice finally reaches the back of the shed and sees a saw table, wood engraver, a work table, a scroll saw, and a host of other tools. Neatly placed on the work table was paint, paint brushes, various grits of sand paper, nails, wood stainer, finishing gloss, and wood water protectant. Looking at the various equipment that was all the confirmation Alice needed that this person new exactly what they were doing. In true Alice form with the pitcher of tea still in her hand her nosy instincts kick in and she begins to rummage through the equipment. She didn’t make no secret as to what she was doing because she made so much noise accidently turning on equipment and accidently knocking over cans of paint. Due to the confined space any noise in the shed was magnified.

Alice was so caught up in exploring the different equipment in front of her she didn’t realize the drilling noise she had been hearing since entering the shed had stopped.

“Hey Bette things are progressing as planned,” says the re-molder coming from around the corner of the shed walking with their head down adjusting their tool belt and failing to look up.

Hearing the voice Alice clinches the pitcher in her hand and begins to turn around, “Oh no I’m not Bette I’m her friend Al—–,” once she completely turns around making eye contact with the remodeler her voice is immediately lost. The pitcher of tea she had been carefully guarding slips out of her hand and crashes to the ground shattering into pieces.

Desperately trying to find her voice, “T-TTT-T-TTTTTTTTT Tasha.”

She felt her mouth move but out of pure shock but she wasn’t sure if she had spoken or if any sound had come out of her mouth at all. Her heart was racing, her body was shaking compulsively, and her knees felt like they were going to give out on her at any given moment.

    “Alice———hi.”

    1. For real, you just gonna leave us with a cliff hanger. It’s Christmas for goodness sakes, the season for giving, give us something. Oh and can somebody please whoop Clea’s ass, I don’t care who, a random lady at the grocery store or a little girl kicking her in the shins, I don’t care.

    2. Im back! Sorry im just getting updated but whoa i love what im reading!! Gees this is up there with some of the best tibette stories even though its a Talice story. I love this chapter although it was very heartbreaking. Poor Alice the bubbly girl just cant find her way back to that cheerful girl we all love because of the pain she keeps going through. I can’t believe Clea for putting her hands on Alice argh andthe gang not the same sigh…but lets talk about that ending…freaking frack!! Now this is about to be some reunion, i cant feel it.
