    Bette and Tina talk and they go home

    “Thanks babe – you are the best”

     

    Tina kissed Bette “I am looking forward to getting you into your bed later “

     

    “That has crossed my mind “Bette replied.

     

    Bette took hold of Tina’s hand and they headed back enjoying the peace of the space they were alone in. When they entered the cabin Zak ran to them and demanded to be picked up. Helena was alone in the sitting room with him

     

    “Where is everyone else?”

     

    “Playing on the swings and climbing frames – this little one is feeling poorly “

     

    “Oh are you sweetie “

    “Mamma “he hugged Bette closer

     

     

    It took half an hour to load the mini bus up and get everyone settled where they were happy. Josh wouldn’t sit near Dan – they had been arguing over something so Bette Josh beside Alice which made them both happy. The trip back was jolly with Alice and Lara teaching the kids Beatles songs – Zak being a fan of Yellow Submarine which took his mind off feeling ill.

     

    It was just after lunchtime when Bette parked in front of the two houses. The afternoon past in mild chaos for both families. Hannah begged and pleaded until Alice agreed to drive her to the kennels to pick up Homer and Mo. The dogs raced around their house reminded everyone that while they had been having fun THEY had been locked up and couldn’t sleep on beds as they liked. Tina threw all the dirty clothing in the washing machine and repacked her daughters bags ready for them spending the next few days with their father. As she was folding up one load of washing Shane ambled in

     

    “Hey Shane “Tina dropped the shirt she was folding and hugged her friend

     

    “Just came to see if you had a good time – let me look at you “

     

    Shane appraised her friend – she saw the look of contentment and knew that Tina had joined the L Team again.

     

    “You dirty dog “Shane said laughing

     

    “Me? “ Tina blushed

     

    “You two have done the deed – more than once “

     

    “Maybe “Tina conceded.

    3. YOu go Bette. I still don’t see what Ollie is so bothered by . The dude left his wife and children for a guy. He’s happy why can’t Tina be. Ollie you so need to get over yourself. Slapping would be good. Alice needs to let Bette tell her own story, she’ll get their.

    7. Totally awesome Ally! Alice may feel the need to ‘discuss’ things with Bette, but I don’t think she thought it through very well before she started in at this given time and place. Alice should have waited until she and Bette had more privacy before she went about bursting Bette’s bubble. I love the way Tina put it – concentrating on their future together is what’s important. Bette talking about Emily with Tina will come in time. Alice trying to force Bette into a corner about it will bring no good to anyone. I know Tina can’t wait to be in Bette’s bed tonight. Ollie needs to stop showing his ass. You would think he would take this opportunity to show Tina that he is happy for her – considering all the misery he has caused her. He owes Tina that much. I love your writing Ally. Thank you for posting such a lovely story.

    9. Ollie is such a b*rk. Honestly, how did Tina stand him long enough to even marry him? Bette’s got this battle won, hands down. He needs to find something else to do with his time. Selfish prat. Is his boyfriend Paul this insufferably vain as well? Me being this wound up is a barometer of how good the story is, ally. Post soon

    12. Now, THAT’S what I call “Drawing a line in the sand” and letting Ollie know what will happen when he crosses it. The only thing that was missing with the interaction between Bette and Ollie was her waiving goodbye to the kids. Now, THAT would have been rubbing it into Ollie’s face. It’s time that Paul reeled Ollie in some in reference to Tina. I loved the way that Tina handled Bette being upset. Her friends know how Bette was in the past when she was upset, but they have not seen how she and Tina interact and are supportive of each other. I think the change will surprise them all. This is a whole different chemistry between B&T and this will become ovious to the children, Ollie and all of their friends. NOw it’s time for Bette to go in and comfort her partner. Hey Ally, “You go girl” BRAVO and GREAT job here. :o)

I am in awe of all of u and send my blessing to u all for these unbelievable, incredible and beautiful stories. I have discovered this site only a few weeks ago and have been glued to my computer since then. I watched The L Word though its gives a good insight to lesbian’s life but I always wondered about many other aspects of this way of life, especially the physical relationship. Since reading these stories I feel as if I have gained years of experience, knowledge, confidence and much more.     16. What the hell crawled up Ollie’s ass and died? If he and Bette weren’t at odds he probably wouldn’t have minded that Tina didn’t call. Also, and this isn’t the first time I’ve thought (and probably not the first time it’s been said), but it seems like Ollie thought he could have his cake and eat it too. He cheated on Tina, they split up and he moved on with Paul. Yet he perhaps thought Tina would just stay single? Tina’s a very patient woman I think. It’s so tempting to know all the details of Bette and Emily’s marriage, especially after Alice spoke to her. But Tina’s letting Bette set the pace for that discussion. True class act. Looking forward to your next post!

    17. Oh my God, I can’t believe that I’m almost firs and most important that I finally got the courage to write!!. I’m from Argentina and two years ago after the firs season of the L word ended I though, “Wow I have to see more about this”. So thanks god internet exist, I discovered this site and the firs story I red was yours.(It was very funny because I didn’t understand and though it was a real chapter.I’m so naive!) And after that moment I’ve become a very big fan of yours and from other writers like Jo or Gumby. So please, keep writing like this, you are a genious!!!

    23. Damn. Bette is ready to thrown down alpha style over her woman. Glad Tina could calm her down. She is a much better woman than I would be if she doesn’t want insight into Bette’s marriage. But it is a good thing. Love this story.
