Next door Tina was hot and sweaty and with only twenty minutes until the party goers started arriving sure that she was never going to find the time to get ready. She was just removing a batch of sausage rolls from the oven when the door opened and she heard the very welcoming voice of Shane
“Is this the right place for the birthday party ?”
“Hey Shane “
“You look stressed “
“I am – I would be hysterical if it hadn’t been for Bette “
“Practicing her famed relaxation methods on you has she ?”
“No – the company I hired the bouncy castle for that Hannah wants more than a party went
bust – I know Shane – I have heard all the jokes – do NOT crack another one. Anyway – I rang
another company and they delivered one – it didn’t inflate – Hannah was crying, Zak was crying – I felt like killing someone “
“And Bette came to the rescue ?”
“She is making a habit of it – yes – she totally slaughtered the owner of the dodgy bouncy castle – made him come and take it away – then she drove 40km to personally select another one from a different company and they came straight out and Hannah is SO happy with the new one “
“The one she wanted had mermaids and dolphins on didn’t it ?”
“It did – but you should see the new one “ Tina gestured for Shane to go into the garden and check it out. She returned a few minutes later
“Tina – that one is twice the size “
“It is – Hannah is so excited about it – and when Becky saw it – well you know she has been saying that she had NO intention of going onto a silly, kids bouncy castle ? Well even Ms Cool was impressed enough to say that she was going to have a go – so they have been leaping around on it. They are getting changed under the alleged adult supervision of Ms Fairbanks “

Too bad she didn’t stick it up his ass. And the snide bastard can’t be that concerned (neither was the court that granted their divorce) or he would be fighting for custody. Here’s hoping Paul knocks some sense into him or leaves his sorry ass to suffer in solitude.
FFS, Ollie is *such* a prat. Completely loathsome. Really, just *what* is his malfunction? He’s got his cake, can’t he just eat the bloody thing, and let Tina be? And yeah, I agree with funnyone, if it was such a big problem, the courts would’ve taken the kids and granted that jumped-up little fart custody of the girls. My gosh I have missed this story. Glad to hear you had a good time though.. Ollie probably deserved the knife wound, but feels great in keeping Tina guilty about it. Power to Bette and Tina.

Are we going to get alcoholic Tina? Dealing with the pain by pouring herself some brandy on an empty stomach. Weilding a knife drunk. Sounds like a bad custodial environment for the kids. So I hope there is some other explanation. I hate Ollie.. but still.

Great update! Can’t understand why Ollie holds so much animosity towards Tina and her newfound relationship with Bette.
Ollie is a bastard personified. He should not have done that to Tina, and maybe she should have slipped the knife a bit lower and she could have made him sing soprano for the rest of his life. The asshole.
Does Ollie really think that Bette would believe for even half a second, that Tina (even with a knife) is any kind of threat against Ollie, a 6ft cop – with a GUN? I’m sure it was either an accident or Ollie totally deserved it. Tina was probably defending herself. Try as he might he’s not going to come between them. BIG question here Ally…WHY? Why is he so determined to cause problems? Why doesn’t he like Bette? Why doesn’t he want Tina to be happy??? I just don’t get it. He went about leaving Tina the wrong way (he should have left Tina before he started seeing Paul) and now he’s going about “letting Tina live her own life now” in the most completely absurd manner. He’s very sinister…sneaking around the house…I wouldn’t take my eye’s off of him for a second if I were Bette. It’s almost like he has some sort of vendetta against Tina and of her finding any kind of peace and/or happiness. Why is he lurking around the house instead of outside enjoying Hannah’s birthday? It’s like, he knows he’s the bad guy here; and so does everyone else…including his children…poor little Becky, pleading with Bette to not let Ollie mess up Hannah’s day…like Ollie has caused problems before at previous family gatherings. I really think that Bette will have Tina’s back 100% here. If I were Tina, I would arrange the children exchanges through Shane or someone so I wouldn’t have to have any contact at all with Ollie…something is not right with him…I have to wonder if he would cause harm to one of the children, he is so malignant. Yeah for Ally!! Boo for Ollie!! What is this guys deal? I hate to say this but I’m kinda glad Tina got at least one good jab in. This guy “beats” her up constantly…anyway, glad you had a good time. Its not going to let Bette feel any less for Tina, though she may have some questions. I’m still having a hard time trying to figure out where all of Ollie’s anamosity came from. He’s got his life and his boyfriend, why is he so determind to destroy Tina’s happiness.
I´m sure Bette would want to hear that story, but I don´t believe it´ll harm their relationship . . however a little harm to Ollie wouldn´t be too much to ask . . would it. I mean you don´t have to actually kill him, but that bouncing castle has got to be good for something.
He is such a dick! Tina was depressed at the time, but she needs to have a serious sit down with Bette and tell her everything. I hope she got therapy after that incident. What am I saying of course she did because dickhead would have probably tried to sue for custody if she hadden’t.
