    Bette’s Pool Party

     

    The brunette hurriedly went to the house to escape from Alice’s teasing. “Urghh! Alice can really be so uhhmmmp!” Bette muttered in frustration. She couldn’t find the right word to describe Alice. When she entered the kitchen the brunette leaned back on the door, closed her eyes and rubbed her two hands in her face. She could feel the fast beating of her heart. She suddenly felt a panic inside her when she felt aroused just by seeing Tina in her bikini. It is not even the first time that she saw someone in bikini and even Alice wore a skimpy one compared to Tina so why does she have to feel so sexual with Tina?

     

    The brunette slowly opened her eyes when she heard a movement. She saw the back of the redhead who is busy making the mediterranean salad and suddenly she felt conscious that Lara will sense her discomfort.

     

    Lara felt the presence of Bette so she turned her back to face the brunette. She looked at Bette and was stunned to see Bette looking so flustered. She knows that look of Bette so her eyes widened when she realized that Bette is aroused. How long has she been standing there in the door? So Bette is checking her out huh?!

     

    She smiled and slowly walks towards Bette and put her arms around the neck of the brunette. Lara pressed her body to the brunette and kissed Bette on the lips. The brunette was taken aback by Lara’s actions but she gets along with it and kissed her back.

     

    “I know what you are thinking. Let’s do something about that later. I’ll take care of you. Okay?” Lara said then she kissed again the brunette.

     

    The brunette just smiled on Lara then she carefully moved her body away from the redhead. “Where are the other girls?” Bette asked while getting a bottle of mineral water from the fridge.

     

    “Dana and Shane went to the grocery to buy more beer and they said that they will be making mojito slush. Do you want something to eat?” Lara asked while finishing the salad.

     

    “Nope! I have just eaten a chicken drumstick. Maybe I should start grilling the salt and pepper skirt steak.” Bette said then she pulled the chair in the counter near the redhead and started to drink her water.

      I feel sorry for Lara, but she knew the rules and she will not be able to win her fight for Bette.

    5. We all know Tina will get Bette in the end but until she stops thinking that the competition is Lara she will never deserve Bette. What she needs to be competing for is making herself worthy and to stop treating Bette like her property and puppet. I’m glad to see that Lara is a woman of honesty and integrity so she is already a winner and a class above Tina in my book. Now she just needs to stop begging and move on.

      scribe you’ve now given Tina a chance to be a ‘real’ friend to Bette. I hope she will truly help Bette to deal with the loss of her daughter and not use Bette’s vulnerability to seduce her. Being sexually attracted to someone and getting turned on doesn’t mean that they are a good partner. There has to be something substantial outside of the bedroom to sustain a relationship; at least a mature one.

    7. Thanks for the shout out and the update. Also unlike one of the comments that was made, how is Lara a class above Tina when Bette had already laid down the ground rules and she is in the kitchen begging for Bette to chose her over Tina and just love her even though she knows that Bette has feelings for Tina. I liked the kiss in the pool, but now I would really love it if you have Tina be the friend to Bette she should have been four years ago and help Bette with
      either getting visitation with Madie or just get sole custody from that “skank” Mika. I most times want a Tibette ending but let them earn it, no quick fix.

    8. I really loved this chapter!
      and yes, I also agree with others, I did not lift a platform Lara!
      What she did in the kitchen was pretty pathetic, Bette said it loud and clear that she is her friend. Lara heard the conversation between Bette and Tina, and Lara know that,Tina has feeling towards Bette. and Bette just confessed that she felt towards Tina, though not dare to deal with her feelings because she scared from further pain. To beg someone to love, that’s pathetic! love can not be forced!
      I liked the kiss in the pool, thanks to Alice :D
      I really hope Tina will be the best friend of Bette and can prove this, if she stand by it, and help figure out something how Bette to see her daughter.
      I’m looking forward to the next chapter!

    10. Lara needs to go, Bette don’t want you that way its just a physical thing, ugh!

      Its sad that Madie wants Bette in her life and Bette wants Madie because to her that is her daughter, but what are you to do when technically you have no rights..#so sad

      Team Tibette on deck, lets get the boat floating, whew hooo!!!
