    Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 36

    Chapter 36

    The next morning……..

Angelica awakes to find Lyndsay lying next to her watching her sleep.

“You really have to stop doing that.”  Growled Angie as she rolled over to lay on her stomach.

    “Doing what?”

“Staring at me as I sleep” responded Ang who grabbed her pillow and covered her head.

Lyndsay laughed at the picture before her.  A naked girlfriend in a vulnerable position holding the pillow on top of her head…hmmm the possibilities.  She quickly moves to straddle Angie’s body and begins a trail of light kisses across her shoulders and down her back.  Now having Angie’s full attention they pick up where they left off the previous night and proceed to make love.

After finally getting out of bed and having a shower, they sit and have breakfast together before packing up Lyndsay’s car for the trip to her parent’s house.  Lyndsay was carrying out her suitcase when she remembered that she had a box in her spare bedroom that she wanted to take with her.  Asking Angie to retrieve the box she headed out to the car.

When Angie walked into the room she was amazed by what she saw.  Lyndsay had begun a new painting that was set up on an easel.  Walking over to it, she was just as captivated as she had been when she had first met Lyndsay in Rome.

Outside Lyndsay was waiting for Angie to bring out the box, but when she didn’t appear right away, she went back inside to look for her.  Having forgotten about the painting she strolled back into the apartment and went to find the missing girlfriend.  As soon as she appeared in the doorway she saw Angie standing in front of the easel.

    “Do you like it?”

Angie responded without taking her eyes of the artwork before her.  “Yes……it’s amazing…..I think it’s better than the one you gave me from Rome.”

Lyndsay walked over to Angie and stood behind her.  Wrapping her arms around her waist she thanked her for the compliment and kissed her cheek.

When Angie turned around it was then that she saw the stack of paintings leaning up against the wall.  Leaving the embrace of her lover, she walked over to the stack and started to flip through them one at a time.  She didn’t say a word until Lyndsay asked “So what do you think?”

    1. ROFLMAOOO!!! “Where is my room?” Hmmm Angie, I wonder just where that room might be? You better hope that Lyndsay still has some old bunk bed in that ONE room your likely going to be sleeping in, otherwise…..be prepared for some body heat! Tazzie, thanks SO much for posting. I wasn’t sure when an update was coming based on our emails. This was fabulously written, and demands FURTHER writing..SOON! Though, I’ll “maybe” let it slide if that other treat might come to life real soon. Take care my friend, and once again…BRILLIANT! {{hugs}}

    2. Hey Taz, glad to see you back and posting. So Angie has finally arrived and Lyndsay’s Mom seems to be accepting her well…that should put Angie at ease. I was surprised that Angie didn’t tink of Bette doing Lyndsay’s show and having her negotiate with Lyndsay’s agent. Bette would be in her glory to do this. Great update Taz…I hope we get another soon.

    3. This is well worth the wait. I am gld to see that Lynds wants to do a show. I think Bette could have been a choice for curator. Angie’s last comment was funny. “Where’s my room”.PPS.

    4. So great to see a chapter again of this story, missed it. Thanks for posting this chapter. It’s good that Lynds wants her work shown now and why in the world did Angie not suggest that Bette come to NY and hand this show as well as consult her mother for the name of the best agent. Bette does know them all and she would know the best one to represent Lyndsay. Angie should call her mother and ask her to hang the show since Angie’s emotions would be involved. Bette is after all the “best in the business.” Bette isn’t old enough to retire yet, so she should probably be the one to hang the show. This would be a grand “opening” for a new artist and one that is so very talented. Bette would work wonders with the show. Maybe I’m not giving you a chance to write your story. Sorry, I just thought immediately that it would be best for Bette to do the show. I guess I’m getting ahead of myself. Great chapter. PPS

    5. Wow Tazzie that Lyndsay is turning out to be quite the tiger. “Lynds……I don’t want you to think that I am in any way taking advantage of you or using you to get this show. I love you and first and of foremost importance to me is you and your happiness.” hum, how dose that work with, “Angie stopped and asked “where’s my room?”Taz, I hope you know, I’ll wait till whenever for the next update because your that good. Thank you, Md

    6. Hey Tazzie! *waving with enthusiasm* We are still savouring this chappy of yours. It was not only charming, but also cute. It shows how smitten Angie is by Lindsay and it proves that Linds is ready to be introduced into the Art world. Oh, we can show Angie that “her room” will always be shared with Lynds. Hahaha Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks. PPS – Lu & Marsh (Proud Salsa Aunties to the ever loving JC and Eunichick)

    7. I can’t top Chicki’s comment but what a great chapter. Well worth waiting for. Thanks for brightening up my morning before I go to work. Looking forward to another chapter my friend, maybe soon? Take care, your friend K
