    Chapter Four

Tina sighed heavily as the town car stopped in front of her home. She grabbed her purse and smiled at Phyllis.

“I had a nice time. Thank you,” Phyllis nodded and rested her hand on Tina’s thigh.

“Anytime Tina. You know—maybe we should do this again, but not so formal.” Tina cringed and laughed nervously.

“I don’t think that should be a good idea.” Tina moved Phyllis’ hand. “With you being Bette’s boss and I’m actually seeing someone. I just did this for a favor for Bette.” She put her hand on the door handle as she moved closer to the door.

“Well if you ever change your mind,” Phyllis grabbed a card and handed to Tina. “Give me a call.”

Tina nodded. “Yeah,” she opened the door and stepped out. She closed the door and fixed her dress. She shook the disgusting feeling away as the car pulled off. She lifted her dress up and walked up the steps. She smiled as she made it to her door. She grabbed her key and unlocked it. She walked in and slipped out of her heels.

“Hello?” She looked around her home and smiled when she walked into the living room. Alice was lying next to Angelica on a blanket on the floor with the DVD playing Sesame Street. She leaned down next to Alice and pushed her hair out of her face.

“Al—Alice,” Alice stirred and slowly opened her eyes. She looked up and smiled.

“Hey, how was your night?” She stretched her arms above her head and yawned. Tina smiled and shook her head. “You enjoyed yourself that much.” Alice sat up and scratched her head.

“No—I was bored out of my mind.” Tina sat down next to her little girl and ran her hand over her back. “Phyllis was a complete bore, but she was trying to hit on me before I got out of the car.” She sighed and began to pull the pins from her hair.

“What about Bette? Did you two get to sneak off?” Alice grinned.

“We didn’t sneak off, but we did get a chance to talk. She looked amazing tonight Alice.” She smiled softly and dropped her head. Alice smiled at her friend.

    1. We know that Jodi is really in for the long haul.Kate could be she seems so full of her self. Bette and Tina needs to get it all behind them and try to be a family. thanks

    2. I love this story but I must’ve missed when they discussed the actual reconciliation. From what I read, Tina just told Bette she wanted another chance.. Nothing had been decided.. Hmm.. Maybe I mis-interpreted something.

    3. Thanks for the post. Bette and Tina need to tell Kate and Jodi to get lost. They only have love in their eyes for each other. Happy they are getting back together. PPS

    4. Thank you for your kind compliment, although I don’t think you need me to tell you that you are doing something right with your writing! Honestly, it amazes me that you can write so many different stories at the same time. I would go crazy with all those different storylines rolling around in my head!! Thanks!
