Another Chance {Chapter 4} *fan fiction contest*

“Hey,” Bette smiled softly. “What you guys up to?”

Alice smiled and took a seat. “We’re just hanging out, and we’re bored. So we came to see what you were up to.” Shane sat in the chair next to Alice.

“So Tina—I heard that you went on a date with Phyllis Kroll.” Shane smiled. Tina rolled her eyes, and Bette chuckled.

“It wasn’t really a date. I just went to a banquet on her arm for Bette.” She looked over at her.

“What does Bette have to do in return?”

“I have a few ideas swimming in my head,” Tina smiled mischievously.

“I don’t know if I’m ready for this.” Tina looked at Bette.

“You shouldn’t have said that you would do anything for me to with Phyllis.” Angelica began to cry, and Bette got her out of the float.

“I think she had enough of the pool today.” Bette began to walk up the steps and grabbed her towel. She wrapped herself and Angelica in the towel. “I’m going to get her change, and I’ll be back out.” She walked back into the house, and Tina went underwater. She came back up and ran her fingers through her hair.

“I’m hearing through the vine that you and Bette are getting back together.” Shane sat up.

“Yes—we’re going to work on it. I told her that I wanted another chance.”

“You don’t know how happy you guys are making us.” Alice spoke up. “You two were so in love with each other at the beginning and of course, relationships do have their moments,” she cut her eyes at Shane. “Shane.”

“Why do you look at me?” Tina laughed as she made her way over to the steps. “I’m happy that you and Bette are trying to work it out.”

“Thank you Shane,” Tina got out of the pool and grabbed her towel. She wrapped it around her body and took a seat. “I really want this to work out. I don’t want to lose her again because she’s the only woman that I always love.”

“See I want to find that—,” Shane sighed.

“You did find it—but you left your love at the altar.” Alice looked at Shane.

“Okay—you’re going too far Al.” Alice went to speak, but Tina held her hand.

“All right ladies—lets not fight. Let us have a nice day.” She smiled softly.

“When are you going to tell Kate about you and Bette?”

“I will soon—I’ll see her tomorrow to talk about the movie project.”

“Has Bette told Jodi yet?” Shane asked.

“No,” Tina shook her head. “She told me that she was going to tell her when the time was right.”

“And when is that going to be?” Alice rested her arm on her knee.

“I don’t know—I just want it to be soon because Jodi came over earlier wanting to do something with her, but Bette told her that she already had plans with me and Angelica. She told me that Jodi seemed a little hurt by it.”

“Well of course, you have a long history with Bette and you two have a child together.” Tina looked at Alice. “Everything’s going to be okay though. This time, you and Bette are going to work.”

    1. We know that Jodi is really in for the long haul.Kate could be she seems so full of her self. Bette and Tina needs to get it all behind them and try to be a family. thanks

    2. I love this story but I must’ve missed when they discussed the actual reconciliation. From what I read, Tina just told Bette she wanted another chance.. Nothing had been decided.. Hmm.. Maybe I mis-interpreted something.

    3. Thanks for the post. Bette and Tina need to tell Kate and Jodi to get lost. They only have love in their eyes for each other. Happy they are getting back together. PPS

    4. Thank you for your kind compliment, although I don’t think you need me to tell you that you are doing something right with your writing! Honestly, it amazes me that you can write so many different stories at the same time. I would go crazy with all those different storylines rolling around in my head!! Thanks!
