    “As much as I want this, we can’t do it.” -Tina

    “It’s going to be when you at least expect it.” She leaned over and pecked Bette on the lips. “Good night,” she rolled over on her side. Bette scuffed, and Tina smiled. Bette buried her head into her pillow and began to fall asleep.

                    Tina fixed her jacket and took a deep breath. Kate was going to be walking into her office any second now. Her phone went off, and she grabbed it.

    “Tina Kennard.”

    “Well hello Miss Professional.” Tina smiled.

    “What is it Al?”

    “Well—I was wondering if it was all right if I could take Angelica over to Shane’s because she wanted to see her.”

    “Al—you didn’t have to ask me. Shane’s her aunt too—so it wouldn’t be a problem as long as there isn’t any smoking or drinking around her.”

    “I know the rules Mother Goose.” Tina smiled. “All right—talk to you later.”

    “Bye,” she hung up the phone and pushed her hair behind her ear. There was knock on the door, and she stood up. She walked over to the door and opened it. Kate smiled when she saw Tina.

    “You look amazing.” She wrapped her arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “So I heard that you wanted to see me.”

    “Yeah—,” Tina closed the door and rubbed her hands together. “I know that we have to work on the movie, but there was something that you should know first.”

    “You’re not letting me go are you?”

    “No,” Tina shook her head, and Kate sighed. “It’s about you and me.”

    “What about us? We’re going great aren’t we? Hopefully we’re going to take that next step.” Kate grinned.

    “Actually—I don’t want to take that next step.” Tina leaned against her desk. “There’s someone else.”

    “So you were cheating on me.” Tina chuckled softly.

    “We’re not together—we were just dating. So I wouldn’t call it cheating.” She looked down and looked back up at Kate. “I went back to my ex—,” Kate cut her off.

    “You went back to Henry. I thought you were done with men.”

    “If you let me finish—,” Tina pressed her hands on her desk. “I went back to Bette. I told her that I wanted to try and work things out again between her and I. I want my family back.”

I’m sure Peggy would like to know that one of her best executives is being threatened with loosing her job cause she wont sleep with a conceited director.

    9. tina’s boss is a dick. i think he’s suffering from PMS. he seems to threaten to fire her quite a lot. i wonder what would he do if she said fine i quit. he seems like the type who would make her getting a new job as difficult as possible.
