“You do?”
She asked me like I was lying. So, I looked her dead in the eye and said
“Yes…”
“But you’re not even gay.”
She tossed back at me.
“Let me decide that….”
“Why are you wasting her time?” Alice hissed.
“I am not. Besides, what the hell are you talking about?”
I was beginning to become annoyed. What’s with her attitude? I’m hoping that my mind’s playing tricks on me. I’ve had one hell of an interesting day. Think good thoughts. That should do it.
“Eric…”
My face froze like a statue. How dare she use that name is this house? I walked over and approached her. She backed away.
“How dare you say his name? And how dare you use him towards me. You know Eric and I broke up a couple of months ago. Hey, it could be more, but one things for sure, I’ve lost count. I’ve moved on.”
I turn away. Alice’s face is red. She knows that she messed up pulling Eric’s card on me. I disliked when she would try to cot block me from being in a relationship. She thinks that I’m going to move on and forget about her. As many times as I’ve been there for her. She used to stay with me, when she first got to L.A. And within five years she boosted her empire and now she’s the one on top. I’m thankful that she gave me a place to live. I could never leave her side.
“I’m sorry…” She walks over to the window. “I didn’t know you were in to her like that.” She stares outside.
I feel bad and walk over to her. I touch her shoulder and she looks at me. I pull her towards me and hug her.
“I like her a lot.”
She looks at me. Her face flushed fully. She was surprised to see me smiling. It’s been a while since I was happy.
“Hey, you’re smiling?” She smiled.
“I know…”
I looked out the window too.
“So, what did she say about me?”
Alice looks at me like I have something up my sleeve. I was waiting for her to spill the news to me. I wanted to know questions and comments. I was indeed interested.

Alice is probably into Tina if she’s always throwing Eric’s name in Tina’s face anytime Tina tries to get in a new relationship.
I so love your writting. This story is just great. Alice needs to step off and leave them alone.
Leave it to Alice to always butt in, gosh she is so annoying at times, but I think Bette and Tina needs to stop playing games and go after what they want from each other. It’s about to get hott in here lol
