Chapter 14
Right before the alarm clock was set to sound, Dana reached over and turned it off. After stretching a little to shake the sleep from her limbs, she started to get out of bed but was stopped by an arm snaking around her waist.
“It’s Saturday, Dana… no need to get up so early,” the sleepy redhead mumbled snuggling closer to the athlete, refusing to open her eyes just yet.
Smiling Dana moved back closer to her girlfriend and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead. “It is eight o’clock. This is sleeping in for me. Besides, I am meeting Harrison for a run and then meeting up with Alice this afternoon.”
“Right. Saturday. I remember now,” said opening her eyes looking at her girlfriend for the first time that morning. “Good morning sexy,” she greeted before quickly moving to straddle the brunette.
Her fingers gently gliding down the athlete’s toned body, Lara leaned in and whispered, “Harrison won’t mind if you’re a little late.”

“Are you absolutely sure this is what you want to do,” Dana asked for the thousandth time?
“Yes I’m sure Dana,” Alice said rolling her eyes at her friend before returning her gaze to the binder she was leafing through.
“Okay, well. Just make sure you find one you really like. Don’t settle for something that is just okay. You are going to be living with this thing for the rest of your life.”
Alice let out a shout of triumph. “This is the one I want, what do you think Dane? I’ll put it right here on my right arm,” the blonde asked showing the brunette a simple but elegant tribal tattoo.
Dana studied the picture carefully, then looked at Alice’s arm, then at the picture once again. Finally after repeating this process two more time, the athlete nodded, “I like it Al. I think it will look great.”
Soon Alice was situated in a cushioned chair with Dana on her left and Jim the tattoo guy on her left. When she saw the needles come out she immediately grabbed the athlete’s hand with her left hand.
“Nervous,” Dana asked? “Don’t be. I check his certification and references.”

Yet another excellent chapter, anionayo! Loved Dana and Alice together at the tattoo parlor. You did a great job with their banter. I also love that Dana held Alice’s hand and paid for the tattoo. Very sweet. You really have built up that strong bond of friendship between them. The Wimbledon thing was so funny! Dana might just want to throw the last match and come in second. I think we should let akshunjack and HarukaFairbanks take care of Scott. He would never bother anyone again. He may never even be seen again. I am glad Lara understood the situation at the party and didn’t push it. The interaction between everyone at the party was done very well. I hope Alice finds out that Dana was instrumental in putting the party together. I am a little worried about Kim, too. I hope she doesn’t mess things up for Dana. Thanks for the great update to this amazing story!!

Like MaGoose, I also thought it was so sweet that D paid for the tattoo and coordinated the party for her birthday. This story gives “Danish in the making” a new meaning. I like how you build up their friendship. anionaya, your story is getting better with each post. I echo 25justagirl and akshunjack.
